Singles & Dating - 12 April 2007

I did home stay for about a year (Japan) at my host family's place 4 years ago and they treated me like a real daughter. I'm studying in the same country now, but a different prefecture and go over to visit them during holidays. I never felt anything for him until I visited early this year. Somehow, I felt myself seeing him in a different light and I didn't know what to make of it. The feelings grew stronger and I really looked forward to spending time with him.He's single, doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, and what some people would term an "otaku" (likes anime, manga, PSP, etc...).Sometimes when we're alone together, it seems like he shows more affection towards me than he usually does. I don't know what to make of all these and I don't know what I want.I've even thought of seducing him but... If things go awkward or anything then I'll hurt not only him and myself, but my host family as well...The age difference doesn't bother me but the commitment level is going to be hard to deal with.

When i want someone I can never get a guy. But when I decide to accept being single and just be happy...dudes are asking me out!! I'm truley happy being alone and I like not having the drama a boyfriend brings. Plus I'm ultra busy and have little time to spare. I'm cool with going on dates, but I avoid them because I know these guys want more, and I don't. C'mon, why do guys want girls who are content being single and avoid the girls who want a realationship?

I know this doesn't descride every guy , but it sure does seem to be the pattern in most cases.

I know someone who never plans to get married in the future because he's afraid that any woman might not like him. he has a horrible academic records. Everytime he feels that he's falling for someone from a relationship that started with a fling, he tends to hold back. He'd be hurt to know that he's not worth living with because of his bad life in the past. However, he landed on a good job...

is it easier for a man to be single for his entire life or is it easier for a woman to be single her entire life. i am a 51 year old male i am just wondering starting from your teenage years to my age now are men more desperate to find a women to be with or are women more desperate to find a man, does the need change as we get older,also in the course of an entire life on average who needs to be sexually active more a man or a woman thanks for reading this

I having a drunken conversation with two female friends and this question actually came up. one girl is dating a guy who's afraid to go to the doctor's office because he is afraid of what the answer might be. the other was hooking up with a guy she was dating and relaxed too much and the rest is history!!! I know this is a crazy question but I said i would post this to see what other people would say (gotta love drunken conversation!!). please explain your stance

Well see I am starting to fall for this guy big time, but hes still kinda in love with his ex (he says hes trying to get over her). I mean she treated him like **** and he still loved her. I treat him like hes my king but yet he still only thinks of me as a friend. Is it that guys like to be treated like ****? A month ago My Boyfriend dumped me in the middle of a school day. I was kinda angry at him that day so i was like ok fine!! We have been together for half a year and our relationship was really good but at the past few months we stoppped talkin so much , he wouldnt sms or call me and he wouldnt tell me what he does and where he goes. Few times he went out with two of his friends and two girls and never told me about it I felt bad that he didn't tell me anything. He dumped me and his reason was because he feels like i don't care about him at all , well i felt like that a lot of times . A week after he dumped me we talked about it and i told him most things i didn't like and felt bad bout it. He said sorry and asked me if he would ask em again would i say yes or no , I told him i need time and weeks have pasted and I really dunno what to tell him . Ok These people I kinda know dont ever spak to me or my family but the other day one of them got in my way and I said excuse me so she turned and went on about how i could just push her aside she was smiling I didnt say anything but I managed to present a half smile. Was this rude of me. These people are rude man. And the mom acts like a spoiled teenager. I think she thinks shes hot or something. 40 maybe 50 year old lady built like the mechilin man if you know what I mean.
