I'm a pretty shy guy. I rarily talk to girls and when I do its only for like a minute or so. How do I go farther than this?

I like my best friend but I have no idea if she likes me back. We go out alone, we talk on the phone every day (she calls me more than I call her), we talk about everything EXCEPT our love lives, we compliment each other and make each other laugh. However, she’s rejected me once in the past and our mutual friend told me a year ago she doesn’t see me as more than a friend. I initiate small physical contact but she rarely starts any of her own. When we’ve had dinner lately, I’ve found us staring at each others eyes. I know she used to view me as a brother, can that change?

Has she changed her mind from the past? Does she like me? What do I say or do to find out if she wants to be my girlfriend? We’re going out this weekend, I want to make sure I make the right moves.

I don't have a date or anything but I am just wondering ... what can you do to a girl/boy on a date that makes it fun during the date...
example: getting her flowers and candy.... taking her out... etc..
getting him a present.... etc...

Why is he so confusing...?...its like one minute he acts like he likes me then the next he acts like im totally disgusting...This has been going on for a while but he finally asked me to prom and im starting to wonder if he wants Me or did everyone just say "go to the prom with her"? Its been 7 months since hes even hinted that he liked me and hes not stopping at his little game. I want answers out of him but the only way i can think of to talk to him about us is just straight up cussing him out...but i dont want to do that because it will mess everything up...I spend more time with him than my best friend and im starting to get get fedup with him and just move on....what should i do?

Most people on dating sites use generic descriptions and it makes it very hard to choice someone to talk to. Just about every girl wants to have fun, but none of them list how they like to have fun. I know there is a hell of a lot more to people then just listing your job, you like to have fun, and that you're looking for the one.

There's this boy at my school.
I wrote a note to my friend it said who it was to and who it was from and it has my first and last name.
My friend gave the note to this boy I like.
And it said How much I like him and why I like him in there.
And me and him are friends.
He's allready going out with someone.
They don't even act like a couple though.
I would make it seem like me and him were a couple if we were.
His friend is like I will get him with you and he'll dump the girl he's going out with.
What should I do?
He know's I like him now.

I have been "casually" seeing this guy for about a month, I'm 19, he's 23. He hasn't even tried to hold my hand or kiss me, tells my friend he's afraid to do anything because I may feel uncomfortable. I am 16 years old. No boys really want a relationship with me I think because of my forehead. I have a nice shape and I think thats what makes them talk to me. My butt breasts and hips. They usually only want sex but I dont give it. Should I start since they never want a realtionship anyway? My face is pretty to me but I dont know what they see not to think so. i liked this girl for a while and she liked me back. but in our science class she sits across a guy that liked her. i didn't let this bother me until a few days ago when she got with him without telling me. i sorta had the idea she got over me and started to like him because i catch her glancing at him in our other class. it just kills me when i see them hold hands and stuff and it just seems that she doesn't care for me anymore.

i was dating a guy for just under a year.he really loved me and i loved him.however,we had our fair share of ups and downs but got through them,and it was alot.however,he suddenly got jealous and possessive,and started swearing and shouting at me.This all happened in oneweekend,and although it may seem drastic for me to leave him,i felt it the right thing to do.However,if he worked out our issues,there was hope.He went away and messed it up though so i told him then it was over for good.he cried in all our friends arms saying he loved and missed me,and now 3 weeks later,he is with another girl,and because we are part of the same friend group,i need to see this all the time.there is no way i could've jumped into anything after everything.i dont love him anymore,but he keeps trying to talk to me.it's making me cry alot even though i don't love him.plus the girl's friends are being bitchy to me.what do u think of what he's done?the situation?

I'm a guy, been out with a girl four times now. BEFORE outing #1, she said that she just wants to be friends. On date #2 we saw a movie, during the tense parts, she grabbed me and ended up holding my hand. Afterwards she blew it off "this is not a date." On date #3, she asked me out, and held my hand for the whole movie... but still "this is not a date." We go out to eat afterward, and she complains that "guys don't step up when they should." What's up with that?
