why does it seem like theres no decent men in the world anymore? I even went outside of my box, and lowered the standards for physical and all that, and it STILL didn't work, I still managed to get a spineless loser. WHY????

by the way, I am a good woman, behind my man 100 % I think its just they aren't ready for a real woman. case point - my sons father cheating on me multiple times, until I found out and left him. emasculating harpy? don't think so honey.

We guys ask the same question about girls, you know. It all comes down to whether your looks and behavior fit preconceived stereotypes, making it easier for you to score, or whether you buck the trend and will have to work on it. As far as decent women go, after my wife died of a brain tumor I was taken by a "vulture" woman who robbed me (I even paid for her bankruptcy) and poisoned my friends/family against me. Yet I still managed to overlook her crap and eventually found another one when I wasn't even looking. So you have to know how to look/what to look for and you have to ask them out and you have to reflect on a person's bad character pretty damn quick without throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Not an easy task. BTW do NOT lower your standards - plenty of rotten AND sub-standard men, I'd say. Always aim high.

I could ask the same kind of question for women: Why are they seemingly all lying whores who want want want and don't give anything worth spit. It's probably the way kids are being raised now days--essentially they all aren't being raised. Parents just park their kids in front of the TV or send them out with questionable friends and you end up with a spineless loser or a lying whore.

because guys are tired of being stepped on, in love and dumped and the older men have taught them to hit it and quit it. even older girls have told guys how to treat women. the thing is, after a women hits a certain age and cant push men around or drag them along that easy, they want to know why guys are such losers...the answer is...you make us like that. "Behind every good man is a good women". remember that!

I wish i could help make men less stupid. I'm a guy and sometimes i can be a jerk, but to the girl i like i am always very very nice to her, and not because im getting some or anything dumb like that, I like her and i appericate her and so i want to treat her with the Respect she Deserves. I would say that you just havent found that guy who likes you for you. Also to brag i'm very good looking. so maybe its one of a million.

the problem might be because you lowered your standards, so now the "decent men" dont want to lower their standards for you, so they dont even bother getting to know you....but i totally know where your coming from, so no offense at all k??? =) im always wondering where all the decent guys have gone myself lol

I'm a male, last time i checked at least, and i'd hardly consider myself scum.... I'm extraordinarily nice, fairly handsome *ego much? lol*, and i go for personality in women more than looks. But looks dont hurt. Mabye your not looking in the right places.
I have absolutely no idea why.
