Most people on dating sites use generic descriptions and it makes it very hard to choice someone to talk to. Just about every girl wants to have fun, but none of them list how they like to have fun. I know there is a hell of a lot more to people then just listing your job, you like to have fun, and that you're looking for the one.

I had great success with online personals. I randomly saw a ad for 'plentyoffish' and decided to sign up, I got a bunch of feedback, but one that stuck out. We met a week later, and were still together now. That was two years ago. I believe it really depends on the person. I am not a partier, I don't drink, so the whole club scene was out for me. If your shy/busy, I think online is great idea. But always be careful about it, there are psychos out there!

Hey its hard...most people are lying on there...but if you give it some time and have some patients, it can be very rewarding. At the very least, you can meet some new people. I met a lot of people that never really ended up turning into much, but I also met my girlfriend there, and have never been happier.

no i dont think it has helped may people... ther are many tpyes of weird people on the net and that type dating is pretty dangerous...
