Singles & Dating - 24 March 2007

Theres 2 guys interested in my sister. One guy has already dated her many years ago and they loved each other at one point. The second guy has been friends with her for as long as guy #1 and has always wanted to be with her but they never did. heres the dilema. She is feeling both of them, the one she dated because she knows what he was like (8 yrs ago) or go for the one she hasnt been with and fantasizes about daily?
Personally I think she should go for #2 she seems to be feeling him more besides wouldnt a person change in 8 years? please give us your opinion on this cause she aint listening to me thanks!

I have been on and off with my boyfriend for 4 years. We do good for a couple months and then something always happens and we brake up, usually I get mad at him and brake up with him. This time he made plans with me to watch a movie. I called him when we said we were going to get together and he said, "I'm at my buddies house and I'm going to be here all night." I don't care that he hangs out with his friends but he did make plans with me just the night before. I said that, "You were the one who said that we were going to watch that movie tonight," then i hung up on him. He called back ten minutes later but I didn't answer. We haven't spoke since. I still love and miss him a lot, but when we are together he uses me for rides places (because he doesn't have a car) and to buy him meals. He doesn't respect me enough to keep our plans. Now all I do is lay in bed all day and force myself to go to work.

the guy i like was walking down the hall way towards me. I was leaning against a wall waiting to get into a class but the door was locked (and there were only like five people there yet)

we made eye contact for a really long time and then he got apprehensive and practically ran to the drinking fountain...where he stayed for a really long time.

When he was done, and looked at him and smiled, He knew i was there but couldnt make eye contact and blushed and started to talk to this random guy that he would never ever or has ever talked to.

does this mean he likes, me or is it the complete opposite.

was he just awkward about the previous situation (read my other question about him)

I will be getting out of high school soon and I have the most amazing boyfriend in the world! We're so in love. I know that many people on here say this and sound immature, but he is everything to me. He is the love of my life, my best friend, a shoulder to cry on and a someone who can always cheer me up. We both believe that it is important to wait till you're married to have sex, so we aren't physically attached, its deeper than that.

The problem is, I am almost positive that I have the opportunity to attend the United States Naval Academy, which only a tenth of applicants are accepted. It is very exciting, but in order to go there I must serve 5 years in the Navy. My goal for the future is to get involved in the federal government, and this would be great experience.

I know that I can't completely base my decision on my boyfriend, but I can't not take it into account. I would love to hear from couples that are in the military or have been. Thanks for your help

This girl I've been dating for 3 months has changed. She was happy for a while then all of the sudden she's not happy around me anymore. I've asked her if anything was wrong, I tried to get an answer out of her and she said "nothing was wrong". She won't answer her phone, reply to email, or anything. She said she's left the phone in the car, but most girls go no where w/out their phone.

Her friends have told me that they've seen her with a different guy at the movie theater and just recently a bonfire party but, they weren't doing anything. I've asked her about it and she said it's one of her friends from a different school. I'd hate to think she's cheating on me, but if she is then that would really break me down.

Is she cheating on me or am I being paranoid?

There's a girl that I really like, and she constantly gives me signs that she likes me too. She always comes and sits next to me and then starts a conversation, offers me rides home, etc. But I constantly see her talking to many of her female companions and they will all start laughing (not the "he likes you" giggle, but more of a, "that's really pathetic" laugh) and then they all glance over at me. That gives me the impression that they're ridiculing me (and she's the only one talking before they all start laughing). She also does stuff like when she sits next to me, she sort of scoots in my direction so I scoot over a bit, but then, as if she's repulsed, she leans away... What's going on here?

For those of you girls that answer how do get your boyfriend or husband to do some of what you want too. Like I like it when "my guy" takes a breast and squeezes hard repeatedly. But I havent had that with this guy. my ex-guy would but I don't know how to get him to do it.

I was hoping by knowing what others guys liked I could see if he liked any of that. If I did something he liked he may do something I like Right?

Ok im people person and i like to make jokes and just have fun with anyone i meet even if i never have seen them before. but when it comes to someone im intrested in have trouble trying to find things to talk about. I dont know why im not nerves or anything but when i try to talk my mind draws a blank so we end up talking about what were doing on the weekend and other things that make me feel akward. He seems to be too tired after a hard day at work to take a shower... The thing is he'll go to bed like that, will ask for sex and then go back to work without taking a shower the next day as well. What infuriates me is that he gets offended if I refuse any form of intercourse with him. I mean asking him to wash his hands turns into a problem. He is like that at least 3 days out of 7 w/intervals of course. I mean I take 2 showers a day and always take care of my appearance , so what gives?

Ok so, as i am indian, well my parents noticed this guy and they referred him to me.so i have been talking on fone with him for abt 2 months time now..he calls every weekend or so...and hes also comin to c me.and maybe we wil go around for 2-3 days...and im nervous!! I recently asked a coworker out. She told me she has a boyfriend and that we should be friends. I told her okay, fine, but if they break up I'm interested in dating her. Bit awkward at first, but we were okay in a few days. Then one day, my JACKASS of a coworker made some reference to us being in a relationship (which he knew nothing of, but he's the resident gossip...). Apparently, she got very upset with the way he phrased it. I wasn't there for any of it, I just heard it from the guy. Now I fear what'll happen the next time I see her. Should I try and dispel any misunderstandings? Or maybe trying too hard fix everything at once would just push her away even further, which would just break my heart since she is a really great person. Maybe I should just back off?

My ex broke up with me about 2 months ago, over something as silly has having a conversation with a guy he thought was up to no good. It led to a huge fight. He asked for his house key back and told me to leave.( i was hurt). After the fight, it seemed as though we were fighting once a week. So recently he went out on date with some chick. He told me where they had gone and what they had done. After leaving the date, he said he realizes that he could not be without me and being with me is where he wants to be. He told me, yes he was curious. But now, he knows for sure his place is with me. My question is "will any of you give him another chance?" I'm a sophmore in high school, 6'1" tan 172 lbs in good shape play 3 sports football swimming and track and have never been kissed.
i have been kissed on the cheek a lot but never rly been kissed. i've been in a bunch of situations where i could have but didnt. like at homecoming i went to te dance with this gurl that alot of guys liked and she she went up for one at a slow dance and i like put my head on her shoulder and kinda acted like i didnt see her. i dunno, i wanna kiss but like i dunno how, and i think i like this other gurl, but i cant tell if she likes me. what are the signs?
