It seems to be that all the girls in my school have had sex with at least 5 guys, and I sorta wanted to know if it is the same everywhere?

no it's not go to the middle east & you'll see virgins I don't like that some people do I was so frustrated sexually when I was young i had wet dreams & was day dreaming all day long & masterbated a lot I don't wish this on any one you couldn't have sex & if you gort cought both of you would possibly get stabbed to death by your own father or brother Virginity is an honer back home I came to the USA thank god married an American I don't care about virginity got 2 doughters who are free man Remember STD's need condoms & discretion
also birth control is wise don't bring kids to this world you can't care for or to single mothers that's a crime agaist humanity as far as I'm concerned go have fun in your life if god intended for you & the girls to be virgins until marriage then why the hell did he have mature at age 12-14????

Unfortunately, most females in public schools aren't virgins anymore, because freshmen feel to in with in 'In crowd' they have to have sex with quarterback of the football team. (Metaphorically speaking.) Some of those girls, a lot of them, most of the time, actually have good heads on their shoulders. But when some of them have sex, well, it's all down hill from there. Pretty soon the girls, even the ones that aren't like that get pasted around from one guy to the next. And before you know it, she is talk about every wheres, and becomes 'The school slut'.
Unfortunately that's what our country, if world has become.
However there are some girls out there that know better, and are very tight in their morals. I am one of them, and have two friends that are also virgins. My only true friends as it were...

I don't think people need to wait until marriage, but I do think they need to wait until they are older-- highschool is way too young.
Since your question extended to the whole world, it would include people in strict cultures where marriages are arranged for people in their early teens. I would expect that most of these people have not had sex if they get married at thirteen and their parents are very strict.

I don't know....But I lost my virginity because I didn't want to have a "good girl image" anymore....how dumb is that. There are lots of stupid reasons girls lose their virginity these days . i'm 24 now and I think about how idiotic I was in high school. If you're still a virgin please hold on to that. Sex is like a ball and chain once you have it you can't get rid of it: it can tie you down to stupid relationships, hold you back from being a whole person, and if you have it too soon sex can be damaging.

I am not one of them but I do work with a girl who is 23 and she is waiting. It is all in how people are raised now a days, it is not made into such a big thing to wait for that special person. I wish I would have since when you do find that special person it would have been great to be able to share that one special thing with them.

I'm in Iowa. I know 2 girls that have waited till marriage. They are out there, try going to church groups and events.

im 15 and have been dateing my bf for a year and all we do is cuddle,kiss,hold hands and hug i dont plan on having sex for a good while.maybe ill wait till marriage maybe i wont i dont know yet.
