i don't understand why would you sound desperate if you were texting your boyfriend... it's not some random guy or someone that took you out on a date and never called you back. do you call him like 10 times a day or something? if you do, then no. but if you just want to say goodnight or ask him a question, i don't see what the big deal would be.

Ok this is what I don't understand and I saw this a lot with girls I went to school with who texted their boyfriends excessively in and out of class when they were just with them for a lunch or breakfast date. It's like dude your man is 5-10 mins off campus you can live one day without him. That's a sign of a woman being clingy and needy when she's excessively calling or texting a guy. I know you want to be with your man, but what guys hate are clingy and needy women who are always wanting to be all up under them. Men like women who are not clingy and are capable to do their own thing without them all the time.
