John has been offering to buy me lunch. He calls me gorgeous, sexy, beautiful, etc. He sent me flowers when I had surgery. He rubs my back, neck, shoulders.

My understanding of men is that, if he is straight, he wants to "sleep with" you even if he does not call you "gorgeous, sexy, beautiful," even if he never brought you flowers and even if he never rubbed a single square inch of any of your limbs.
So the question is, is he straight or is he gay. And what does he want, other than to sleep with you.

I think he likes you and when men like you as more than a friend they want to sleep with you but only time will tell if he likes you long term or just to go to bed with. You can't tell by gestures since some men are really slick about imprressing the woman. If he consistently does this and shows he cares, then he truly likes you for you but only time will tell.

Sure he wants to sleep with you. How could he not? He sent you flowers, calls you, tells you how sexy you are, rubs you, because you are important to him. why? because he cares for you or is in love with you...either way...be thankful there is a nice guy in your life and go with it.You are lucky.

Most guys would want to sleep with you, but that doesn't mean that is all he wants. The only way to find out what he wants is time. The best thing to do if you are not sure, is to not sleep with him, if he hangs around you know he wants more. If he goes, you know that he only wanted one thing, and that he is a sleezy so and so.

Sounds like he likes you. Don't read anything negative into his actions yet. You'll find out soon enough if he's got ulterior motives. If he's a nice guy and you like him too - woohoo for you!

it depends on the guy and what his "love language is" perhaps gifts and physical touch is his way of showing emotion, yet if he is not as sincere as he sounds to be there might be an alterior motive:-) just be cautious..
