Singles & Dating - 20 March 2007

My best guy friend has been telling me that he loves me for a few months now. I didn't feel that strongly about him until a week ago, when I realised how much I miss him and love him also. By coincidence, that same night, he met someone new and has started dating her. I've told him that I didn't realise how much I loved him until now. He says he still loves me, but he won't give up this new girl to be with me. He won't let me touch him anymore or flirt with him either. It's tearing me up that my feelings about him just became apparent to me, and 24 hours later, he's with someone else. What should I do?? I LOVE him more than EVER right now. How should I handle this??

In the beginning when I 1st met him he talked over the phone but his convo was a lil dull & I payed it no mind. Now his excuse is he's too busy to talk so he prefers to text message. Sometimes I just wanna hear his voice but I can't call. This sucks but I deal with it b/c I like him.

One of my friends likes to spend lots of time to herself. She is currently dating a guy who supposedly loves her. He wants to see her every day of the week. She is busy trying to advance her career, but feels her needy boyfriend (who wants to see her everyday for several hours) is causing her to not be able to take advantage of her valuable time. how do u flirt with a guy in high school?
i know him since like middle school and i'm a sophomore. and i think he likes me...
i've already posted this question and they told me to talk about video games or sports. and its true. he loves video games. but i dont know anything about that. how can i have a conversation with him about that if i dont even have a clue??

some things ive heard about guys that i just wanna know the truth you can answer some or all...
-Guys are intimidated when a girl is with her group of friends and is less likely to approach, even if its one girl, he wants her to be by herself?
-Guys are intimidated when girls get "dolled up" and will be scared to appoarch?
-Guys like blondes because they are easy
-When a girl has a tattoo on her lower back its means she is slutty/easy... might as well be a bullseye haha
-Girls are viewed as desperate-or-easy when they give a guy their number, when they make the first move?

Is it wrong for a 35 year old to date a 27 year old? I do not know what to do. I have met this really nice guy and we have a lot in common but I am holding back because of the age difference. He is not concerned with it but I am. I have never dated anyone more than 2 years younger and I usually go for older. HELP! Is it wrong??? or am I being tooo ridiculous for worrying about it....

im 15 years old and i told my guy friend that i liked him. he didnt believe it was me at first, he thought his friends were playing a joke on him. (idk why?) Finally he responded by saying "it's good to know" i asked for who and he said "both of us" . I don't really understand what he meant by that. Pleasee tell me what you think!!!

a few months ago, i cought my bf cheating on me...and my best friend justin was there for me, then i thought i was falling for him...and i guess i was, now im going out with im, justin is my best guy friend and it doesnt even feel weird to go out with him...until he started getting...well...abusive, i think-i mean the other day he punched me in the stomach, and knocked the breath out of me, and i ask him why he did it and he said cause i talked to much about this other guy, i never had said a word about, and i told him that and he did it again, how can he change so fast like this...im scared this will get worse.

I am in a friend with benefits type of relationship. Everything was going really well until he decided to have a long conversation about how he is not ready for a relationship. (I am not ready for one either) A couple of days after the conversation he started acting all wierd. He is calling me in the morning when it used to be just at night(hello its a booty call), asking if he can come over and just cuddle with me, he is saying he doesnt want to lose me and that he cares about me.
