Is it wrong for a 35 year old to date a 27 year old? I do not know what to do. I have met this really nice guy and we have a lot in common but I am holding back because of the age difference. He is not concerned with it but I am. I have never dated anyone more than 2 years younger and I usually go for older. HELP! Is it wrong??? or am I being tooo ridiculous for worrying about it....

Age can be an issue----however 8 years doesn't need to be much of an issue at all.-----leys see-----when you are 50 he will be 42-------not bad at all really.

Honestly, I think that you are being to ridiculous about the whole thing. I mean age shouldn't be a factor when you are that age. I can understand bringing the factor up if you both were alot younger.
I would just go with the flow and if you have alot in common with the guy then see how it goes.
GOOD LUCK!!!!

If you like this boy than you should date him because you are the only person who will know and feel it in your heart what to do. No it is not wrong for a 35 year old to date a 27 year old. If I were you I would do what inside your heart tells you to do.

Sounds more like you are worried about what everyone else will say. Look at Demi and Ashton, she is twice his senior and they are doing just fine. Your mentality should be more secure in your ability to attract a younger man, that is more exciting, has more vitality more playable. There are a lot of pluses to having a younger man. But To keep him, you must keep yourself looking good, and always keep a love for yourself constantly. Because what you had going on to attract him. Keep it up! Don't take it so serious, have some fun!

like the other have said age is just a number. My sister is 24 and has been dating a guy that is 35 now for 4 years, she couldnt be happier. thats all that matters. Just go with what happens, put your worries aside and live life that all you can do.

Yes you are being ridiculous. Give it a shot, and see what happens from there. Don't turn down a new experience because of something as shallow as age difference

Absolutely not. My mom got married w/ a 27 year old when she was 38. There is no problem w/ dating a younger man. It brings more laughter to the table too ( friendly laughter not your crazy laughter).

You are old enough that the age difference shouldn't matter anymore. I think you might be mature enough to handle all this. You both in good places in your life for this work so don't worry about it.

Absolutely not. Once you get to that age you're both mature enough to respect each other. Give it a go, if it doesn't work out, it's not the end of the world.
