Singles & Dating - 20 March 2007

I have liked this guy ("Alex") for over a year now. He knew I liked him,and he was really nice about it-we would still talk as friends,etc. The year before,my friend had asked him out (I didn't like him then) and he said he "Didn't want to go out til he was a certain age"(which was far into the future. Then today,he asked a girl ("Katie") out. Katie is very nice,and I'm happy for her,but I feel like I wasn't good enough for Alex. I'm upset,and annoyed that Alex made a lame excuse to my friend. Plus I can't avoid being around Alex and Katie,and I feel really uncomfortable (and rejected.) Please help!:(

When my boyfriend and i first got together his sister, her boyfriend, my boyfriend and me were all best friends. inseprable pretty much. it stayed this way until about two months into our relationship and then i turned into the devil. I thrive on making sure others are happy i always put her first. She doesnt like her food to touch so when se come to the house to eat i make sure the spagetti noodles dont mix with the sauce just for her. and thats just the begining. She thinks that i control her brother. But its not me its just the fact that he is growing up and maturing and not wanting to go out every night and party. I've never done anything to hurt her or lie to her. But yet she still hates me finds a way to make my life a living hell. I've made myself misrable trying to keep her happy. Why cant she just see that we are in love and her brother is happy and her be happy for him?? I've tried everything what more can i do to keep her happy??

If a shy akward guy comes up to you and tells his feelings for you..and of course you drop him like a rock cause he has no scene of anything...he walks away broken..
Two years later you meet him agian but this time he looks ten times good looking then ever before...and more sure of himself..
Do you think the guy should tell her agian his feelings? or
Should the girl expect him to give a respone now that since he is no secure? or
Should the guy just drop her like a rock and find someone else?

see my bf has a prob with the whole i love you thing and i dont blame he has his reason but what i want to know is how will i ever know if he does how can i tell. i mean he lets it slip but like i different ways without sayin the actual 3 words but i want to know if he really does. how do you know and another question how do you know if that person is the one well kinda like how do you know if your in love with that person

So, today in school. we had mcas. we got a break so we could get up and tlak to anyone in the room. my bf didnt even LOOK at me at the beginning of the break nonetheless tlak to me. then we all watched a movie and he ddnt seem to care that this boy was in between us. and i got locked out of the house and my friend called and told him and he did a fake laugh and ddnt even seem to care. why do guys do this? do they like being w/ their friends more than their gf's? i mean ill pass him in the halls and he wont even look or talk to me. what gives!!!???

have been with my bf for 2.5 months(i'm 21, hes24)I am his first gf in 2yrs When we first met i knew he really liked me.We hung out quite a bit at first,about 4 times a week.he took me to meet his parents & friends in the first few weeks.evrything was going great,but now i barely see him,hes ALWAYS out with friends and he drinks quite often.we live about 30 min away,and only i have a car.he really opened up to me one nite and told me how his ex cheated on him(i can tell this reallyhurt him).The amt of time we spend togther has been really bothering me.I see him once a week and we are usually with his friends or his parents.I talked to him last nite abt this and he was being very understanding but said whenevr hes changed for a girl shes screwed him over,so hes scared to get hurt again then he started to get kinda angry and said he wants space!He kept telling me last nite how much he cares about me.I know hes under ALOT of stress now,what should i do now???how do i give him space?

I feel couples in particular are so possesive these days why dont you just do your thing and your other half their own? why do we have to spend every second of our free time with each other we had a life before love why not continue it but not together the whole time? any good advise on how to let the other person know you love him but just let me do some stuff by myself every now and then w/o hurting feelings we are talking about someone we love........

It is so weird. He says it is just something he never really thinks about. I asked him if I was a bad kisser, did I have bad breath, etc. and he swears that those are not the reasons. I don't get it!!!!!!!!

i dont understand , i've been at this skl for ages, well from last year. i'm soo nice to everyone but neva seem to be invited to parties , like at all? im asian and brown and sometimes think that ppl can be narrow -minded and not invite me like at all just because they think i am timide and loyal to my parents. it annoys me cuz they like talk about it right in front of me! its like i have feelings too and talking about it only jus distanced me away from them more. plz give me some advice on how to deal with it and why they look at me in that way...xxx

ive been happily married to my husband for 3 yrs and we have 2 beautiful daughters. he is 10 yrs older than me and slept with a lot of women before he met me(he reckons about 50) but he is the only man ive ever slept with. this has only started to bother me lately (probably as i just had a baby before christmas and have been hormonal!) im worried that i must be rubbish in bed, although he says im not and i also worry that i missed out on getting more sexual experience by getting married so young. i love my husband and girls so much and i would never dream of cheating on him but i just cant get these stupid thoughts out of my head!!

...entirely my fault, I dumped him for someone who soooo was not worth it. We started talking couple of years ago and I'm beginning to realise that I made the biggest mistake in my life. I think he's single but at the moment we live hundreds of miles apart. We both have got reasonably good jobs which is why it would be quite difficult to move somewhere else. Should I try and get him back or just try to forget... ?

So, I am a booty call. I am fine with it as I am in another relationship and so is he. My problem is: I am always the one to call and set it up, he says he doesn't know when it is the best time to call me and doesn't want to get us in trouble if my hubby was to pick up phone. I've told him a number of times its okay to call when ever.
He comes over, and sex is great, and then we are good, BUT I am tired of being the one to call. Should I wait it out and make him call me or tell him NOW if he doesn't start calling ME, it's over?
