We've been dating almost 2 years but lately I'm worried. A lot of times I feel like I'm sacrificing my own needs to cater to his - in school, socially, even sexually. He says I monopolize his time but he always WANTS to spend his free time at my house and says he misses me when we're apart only a few hours.
I care about him tons but I constantly feel this worry about him. He easily is able to make me cry and I sometimes can't help but feel like he takes advantage of my emotions. We both have completly different morals and personalities..I feel so secure with him. But I'm just not sure if he's worth it...how can you decide if someone is worth it in the long run?

My ex-bf and I were going out for 6 months, and today he said that he would die if he wasnt with me....he said that if i loved him he would go and buy an engagement ring because he knows I am the one he wants to marry...we are only 18...

I broke up with him because he flirts with other girls, and it sometimes seems like he wants to be with them instead of me.

I dont know what to do, I think he is kind of crazy...but its kind of sweet in a way.

I dont know if I should believe if he would kill himself, and take him back (he has tried to kill himself once before), or risk it and just say no

Here is my problem. My girlfriend's ex keeps calling. This is their history.

They were together for 3 1/2 years, but the whole time they were together (never lived together) they had to sneek around because her ex's family didn't know about her being a lesbian and she knew that they wouldn't accept it if they found out. My girlfriend left the state they were living in last year in April to get settled somewhere else so that they could get away from her ex's family and build a life together. She was in one state for 2 months (her ex came to visit 2 times) and then move down to Florida in June (her ex visited 3 times). She was still making excuses about why she couldn't leave her family and everything she had there. The last time she came down to visit was the beginning of August. I met my girlfriend in the middle of November and we hit it off completely. I knew from the beginning about her ex, she explained everything to me. She is the first woman I have ever been with and I love her more than anything. She told me that she used to always jump when her ex called and after she met me and got to know me she didn't even want to answer the phone. Ever since her ex found out that we moved in together (after 2 months no less) she has been blowing up my girlfriends phone. She calls crying and telling her what a big mistake she made and all this **** trying to mess with my girlfriends head. She calls so often while she is at work that sometimes she feels she has to answer or she will call and call until she gets an answer. My girlfriend doesn't want to turn her phone off in case there is an emergency with her family and because of me calling. Her ex has started saying things to her like she doesn't really love me and she is just replacing her with me. It is starting to make me insecure because I know that my girlfriend was madly in love with this woman, but she tells me that she waited to late and that she never expected to meet me and fall in love with me the way she did. She even said that even if I weren't in her life she would not go back to her ex. I am getting beyond pissed off by the phone calls and I already dread hearing that she called again because it makes me think that maybe she has her ex on her mind. I am so tempted to call the woman and tell her to back the hell off, but what good would that do?

I need some advice on what to do, I can't take it anymore...

There's a boy at school who I get on with. We always joke around together, and talk quite a lot.

Recently, he's been smiling at me a lot in class, and always goes out of his way to talk to me. We kind of 'play fight' sometimes, and when we talk, he looks at me a lot, and kinda flirts a bit.

I'm not sure if this means anything, or if he's just being friendly? And if it's something more, should I make a move or wait for him to?

Tears stung her eyes as she looked at the words on that peice of paper

"I love you I do but I have to leave you for my new girl I mostly love her"

She threw it down as a crumpled ball then ran into her dreary room

"She can't be his, he's engaged to me he can only be my groom"

She wants me to marry her or she will never let me see the kids face and drag me to court for child support, i dont wanna marry her, she had lied to me many times, she has a bad past that she told me about after she became pregnant. She is controlling and aggressive in nature. U will say why u made her pregnant if u know all that, well she never show her attitude before that and hided her past from me.

Now i know that she is bad person and has bad past, but she is forcing me for marrige, and if i dont she will never let me see kids face and also drag me court for child support, My parents are not from usa and really backwords, she also threatens me to tell them, if they will know they will know they will die.

What should i do, should i die or is there any way out, plz help?

my boyfriend and i have been together for almost 2 years and i really love him, but part of e thinks he is using me.

in the past 4 months he has stood me up 6 times, twice to spend time with his mum.

the only time he takes me out for dinner is when we have his kids or his mum.

he doesnt want to make any real commitment to me, he says he would buy the engagement ring that i like, but hes not giving me it just now

we have never spent a night alone together in all the time we have been together

he spent my last birthday with his ex, but that was because of the kids

he ordered all his xmas presents from ebay, and becasue he lives with his prents, his mum, sister and daughter all picked out what they were wanting for xmas and he told me that he just gave me what was left. coz the present he had picked for me his mum wanted


do you think it sounds like there could possibly be any hope for us or should i end it?

Ok I have the best boyfriend in the whole world and I love him to death, but he has a lot of girl "friends" and sometimes I feel like he would rather hang with them than me. have a sociology prof at my university who shows me bizarre attention. I took one class from him years ago, yet he remember my face when I ran into him at coffee shop. I'm not his student anymor, but he still always stares at me, says hi, ignores all his students when he sees me. My friend, who had his class last semester, and who he ignores when he sees/talks to me, says he has a thing for me.
I asked for advice about internships and he invited me to his office. I went and we spoke for over an hour. It was school-related but most of conversation was about our personal lives. He told me some pretty personal stuff about his life. Also, he knows a couple things about me I didn' tell him. I think he went through my student-file in department. I'm a student-worker. I have an office and work at night. A few times, he has come by my office to say bye. His is a few floors up and swinging by my office is out of his way. He can really stare at me! Am I overreading his interest?

I was with this guy who made a lot of bad choices and often dragged me into the consequences. In order to help myself I broke up with him. At first it didn't seem like he cared but, I soon figured out he was as torn apart as I was. My dad doesn't want me to have anything to do with him and wants him completely erased from my life. I'm still in love with him and can't help wanting him back. I know that staying away is what's best for me but, it's not exactly what will keep me happy. I wish he could just fix his life and everything would be ok but, he doesn't know what to do. I don't really know what to do, all these other guys are trying to be with me now that he's gone but my heart still lyes with him. I know if I tried to go back my dad would never allow it and would do everything it takes to keep me away. How can I make the pain go away? I've tried talking to them both and things for the moment are fine all except how I feel. Thanks
