Hmm..you might want to make it a bit more clear to her that you are JUST close friends..and nothing more. She could take it the wrong way..

from experience, most girls take it the completly wrong way. they think close friend is similar to almost a boyfriend. so make sure when you tell her, you make it clear that shes just a close friend so theres no misunderstandings and mixups.
