my boyfriend and i have been together for almost 2 years and i really love him, but part of e thinks he is using me.
in the past 4 months he has stood me up 6 times, twice to spend time with his mum.
the only time he takes me out for dinner is when we have his kids or his mum.
he doesnt want to make any real commitment to me, he says he would buy the engagement ring that i like, but hes not giving me it just now
we have never spent a night alone together in all the time we have been together
he spent my last birthday with his ex, but that was because of the kids
he ordered all his xmas presents from ebay, and becasue he lives with his prents, his mum, sister and daughter all picked out what they were wanting for xmas and he told me that he just gave me what was left. coz the present he had picked for me his mum wanted
do you think it sounds like there could possibly be any hope for us or should i end it?

Yeah your being used...for what I'm not sure. It's not like he's taking advantage of aything but your emotions...so I would say it's likely you see why he is single and living with his mum. Not exactly husband material. But he makes a great son.
Time to find someone else. I'm available...lol.

He's using you, get rid of him. It looks like he doesn't really care about you and to him you are not worth spending any money on. All i can say is end your relationship with him, he's treating you like a nobody.

sounds like his has never had the umbilical cord cut let alone the apron strings. i think you need to let him go and find someone with a little more time and emotion to spend on you.

if you were to marry him it would only get worse becuase he would feel more comfortable to leave you home alone...and his family would on be yours now so those kids will always be there.
