I live in the subarbs and i mostly go for urban black girls in the city but the fubby hting they dont seem to like me , i am totally my self, here is a bit description of my personality i listen to country music, i like to read poetry, and i like to go out danceing and have tons of fun the urban black girls give me a shot but it never goes as far as one date is it my looks,

Nope, isn't the looks. You're not deformed or strange looking. So, I'm guessing it's the type of girl you're wanting to attract. Are you maybe tryign to entice women who aren't interested in relationships and are just hanging out with their girlfriends? Or maybe you're trying too hard once you find what you like? Listening to country music and writing poetry does not make you odd. Tons of men do this. And tons of men can find a good woman, even an urban black woman. But, I'm thinking it's not looks or tastes in music and arts. I'm thinking it's deeper than that. I doubt this helped, but atleast you know you're not physically bad!

Gosh Deen I don't like to stereotype people but I don't know any African-American woman who like country music. As for your looks you didn't describe yourself so I can't say. This may shock you but have you ever thought about asking these woman what they didn't like about you? I know most people don't like to be criticized but if you ask nicely you might learn how to improve your situation. You could even call someone you have already dated who didn't want to go out again and say, "I have a favor to ask you. Would you please tell me what I did or said wrong on our date? Advise her that you truly want to improve yourself and you would appreciate her honesty. Also, no matter what she says don't make any rude comments back even if it hurts your feelings. Thank her for being honest and try to make changes that she suggests. You might want to call a couple of girls to see if they complain about the same thing or something different. If you don't want to make the changes they suggest then maybe you should try dating some local girls or find a Country Western club where you can meet girls with similar interests. Good luck.

Nope your looks are OK. It sounds to me you need a very intellegent girl. Otherwise you're going to have to play the bad boy game to keep them.
