ex-bf said he will die without me?

Question

My ex-bf and I were going out for 6 months, and today he said that he would die if he wasnt with me....he said that if i loved him he would go and buy an engagement ring because he knows I am the one he wants to marry...we are only 18...

I broke up with him because he flirts with other girls, and it sometimes seems like he wants to be with them instead of me.

I dont know what to do, I think he is kind of crazy...but its kind of sweet in a way.

I dont know if I should believe if he would kill himself, and take him back (he has tried to kill himself once before), or risk it and just say no

i deffinately know the feeling. My gf broke up with me because she said that i acted like i liked other girls and flirted with them all the time, but i didnt. its really hard. sometimes i want to kill myself. take him back and give it a shot.

I kind of have that same sittiation lol ummmmm except my boyfriend didn't threaten to kill himself.......if u don't like him break up with himm...........i know that u care about him but if u don't think that ur realationship is going anywhere than dump him...........bye the way u r describing him he seems pretty wierd, no offense u should tell him family members about this nd the way he is acting maybe they will keep an eye on him that way they can stop him if he hurts himself...........hope it helps i kinda don't understand that situation but i can see where it is going....good luckk

That reminds me of one of my ex boyfriends. We were going out for 6 months and he said he would die without me too. But i knew i couldnt be with him. He hadnt ever tried to kill himself though... He would sometimes talk about cutting himself and dying. i told his parents to watch him and then i left him alone. If you truly do still love him and want to be with him for the rest of your life, then go for it, but dont just go back out with him because he said he would kill himself, he needs to get help if hes suicidal...

by all means, let him go! you don't want to spend your life with a person that threatens suicide if you leave him. that's a form of control, and you don't need it. just remember, each person is in control of themselves-nobody can actually control the way somebody else acts and responds to situations. get a guy that respects you, not one that makes threats.
