Think about this for a second, it's not a very ladylike idea to come up with the idea of slavery. I mean, men lead the household so the female is going to follow his example of course. back in the olden days, the males were considered the leaders for god sake and got to go out and work not women. I totally doubt a gentle woman came up with the idea of slavery. It hurts me to think that when we express are hatred for slavery, people group white females with those rotten males. Sure, there are racist white females out there, but for the most part, it's the white males. I mean, KKK; when you think of them, you think of a bunch old men in there 40s with nothing better to do but torment blacks. Not white females. Personally, I think it was the white MALE's idea to come up with slavery. White males wouldn't let females of any skin color vote for god sake. White males have been the people with all the power in history. I think the frustration we express when we talk abotu slavery ought to be

ok so ive been with my guy for about a year now and im so in love with him. but he never surprises me or does cute things like bring me a latte when my day is going bad or this weekend we were going to hang on saturday and well now he is having a game night with his family. i thought maybe he would plan something sweet for my birthday like go out to dinner or something but i guess he didnt is it wrong to be upset because he doesnt do cute things? im in love with him tho

My boyfriend and I work for the same company. But different buildings. He and I are on different shifts. He was supposed to work Saturday. But it was canceled at 7 a.m. at the end of his shift. My shift ends at 10:30. p.m. I paged for him but no answer. Another employee said that my bf didn't have to work. I feel like my bf should have called. The only time he calls me is to say he is on his way over or to cancel. I called him and asked him about it. He said that he didn't call because he didn't know if I would be home or awake. I find this excuse dumb because I have a cell and home phone. Both have answering services. So, am I being picky when I expect him to call? I mean, what if I wanted to see him?

My 1st relationship lasted for 1 year plus and just ended about a mth ago because both of us felt that we needed some space to ourselves.

Now that a mth has passed, I'm not sure if I should try to get back together with him. What should I do? I feel that he has something for me. The bond we shared was so strong before and its still present now.

I have this amazing friend who just happens to be a guy. over the years we got really close and seriously considered dating. but with our age it didnt seem appropriate. i hate to say it, but im a very conservative person. When i found out that he drinks alcohol sometimes, i flipped out. Its not something i approved of and i felt like he was screwing up his life. So i made him an ultimatum. I told him that if he wants to be with me in the future, he cant have any alcohol. He seemed to accept this for a while, but today i found out that he was part of a beer run and got an MIP (minor in possession).He knows how much i hate stupid people behind stupid decisions. Did he do this because he doesnt like me anymore? or can there be a different reason. im at a loss of words. i feel like its an attack on me. am i a fool to think that he ever cared? By the way we are 15.

okay so if you added a guy you had a class with on myspace and just msged him to say who you were. Would this tell the guy that you liked him? I just added him because he was nice to me in class and I think hes a nice guy. I didnt think much of it but then my friend said he is probably going to think I have a crush on him and now Im scared to look at him and school just incase he thinks that.

I was seeing this boy for like 3 months, until he tried to break things off. he told me it just wasnt a good time, but he still really liked me and kinda wanted to be friends i guess, which i was pretty okay with. but now we don't talk at all, except for the ocasonal text messages. now he's telling my friends he wants to get back together with me eventually, but I know he's kissing other girls..now the promise of being with him again isnt going to stop me from seeing other guys..it didnt even really stop me before..but it was easy because we live kinda far and the boys i would kiss, he would never find out about, but now there are a couple guys he knows and would find out about..would I be an idiot to not take a chance with someone else because he MIGHT want to be with me again?

I don't know I was just thinking about it today.

There was this girl sitting in front of me and oh my god...she was just toooo cute. Everything about her. Her face, hair, voice, laugh. I just wanted to grab her and hug her LOL.

What really did it was her voice.

So it got me thinking....excluding the face...what about a guy is "cute"? I mean it's not like they can act "cute" or talk cute because that would just be weird so other than their face, what could be cute about a guy?

Everything was okay when we broke up. Neither one of us was mad at each other. Later on I call my ex up to talk and asked him could I see him to talk. I wanted to give his ring back. He had the worst attitude towards me. So I figured I was annoying him and I left him alone. Later on I sent him a message saying im glad that we're friends and you can always talk to me when you want! He responds, "Oh well, its all good, we was ment to be and we never going to be." All i wanted was us to be cool as friends, nothing more. I've already moved on because I am talking to another guy! So i sent his ring back in the mail, because i didnt want it. I just lost my one year old relationship, because I said no to her plans, for a while I always said yes, but it got to a point I had to say no, and suggest another solution to try to satisfy the two of us, she got upset, tried to convince me to do her plan, I kept saying no, and gave the reasons of that "I have the weekend loaded of work from school, sorry I can't, we can do something less time demanding, and in another weekend, do that" We are both on our early 30s. By the end of the weekend, I was single.

What I would like to know, is what's wrong on sometimes give no as an answer, specially when you have important reasons. do women only like guys that give yes all the time as an answer?. what's wrong with me that I am just not a pleaser and I just do what I can?.

ok so there's this guy that i like who knows i like him. when a mutual friend asked him whether he liked me, he said that he was really busy and had no time for a relationship cos he's got really important exams coming up. from that, i figured out that he does like me but just doesn't wanna screw up his exams and/or future. and also, all the signs of him liking me are there.

i got his handphone number, and i texted him, saying that i got his number from a friend and was hoping that he didn't mind that i did. he said that it was alright and we started talking. the next 3 times i texted him, he replied me with a 'hey' and 'how you doing'. after i replied him, he didn't reply me, even after a few hours. and it's not as if he doesn't want to talk to me, right? because if he didn't then he wouldn't have replied my text at all!

i have no idea what to think and i don't know what to do, i'm so confused!

what should i do? sensible and helpful advice please!! thanks!
