ok so ive been with my guy for about a year now and im so in love with him. but he never surprises me or does cute things like bring me a latte when my day is going bad or this weekend we were going to hang on saturday and well now he is having a game night with his family. i thought maybe he would plan something sweet for my birthday like go out to dinner or something but i guess he didnt is it wrong to be upset because he doesnt do cute things? im in love with him tho

He doesn't share the same sentiment. When it's regards to love. I can relate to how you feel. You can get a wet *** b y yourself. Apparently you aren't top priority too him. This seems cold. And I'm truly sorry. Yet I tell people. What they need to hear. Not what they want to hear. It's as if he's living a single life. And you don't fit anywhere in that equation. I wish you the best of luck. In any decision that you may make. You can get advice. From all of us here. Yet follow your heart. And if this is just. A minor infraction on his part. Allow him to know how you feel. Without coming across as offensive. You get more bee's with honey. Than you do with vinegar.

You need to feel special or at least that he is thinking of you.
Buy you a rose, write you a poem, take you to dinner.
Doing something for a just because I wanted to.
You need to have that feeling that makes you feel special, all warm and fuzzy.
Yes,you are in love with him, but he is putting you second, or at times, even lower.
It is not wrong to be upset about these things.
I think you need to start thinking about you, because he stopped thinking about you quite awhile ago.

Wish I could answer, but I'm in your boat. I just had a talk with my boyfriend about this same thing yesterday. I told him how important the little things are, how it makes me feel important in his life. We'll see if any of it sank in.

You're lonely and chances are you just want someone to love you. This guy is selfish-doesn't really love you and is unworthy of you. I think in the back of your head you know this. Try and meet someone who will love you back.
