So, I've been wanting to ask this girl out for a while, but the opportunity hasn't presented itself. She is usually always surrounded by her friends and Im not sure the best way to get around this. Is it best to just ask her if I can talk to her for a minute and put up with her friends giggling and what not, or is there a better way to ask her? And also, if I do get her by herself, do you open up with a conversation starter or go straight for the throat and ask her out right then?

Not me! This guy is a successful engineer now retired, loves kids, great cook, high GPA from a major University, art connoiseur. But three years ago he stopped working and moved back in with his mom after having lived 1000 miles away on his own since college. Is the living with mom thing a non-starter?

My girlfriend is about to lose someone very, very ... very close to her. She's devastated, depressed. She's a mess. I love her too much to see her this way. I will do anything in my power to pick her up, give her strength, and take care of her.

I compose music. Would it be a good idea to ask her to compose a song, just her and I for her loved one? She will think of the melodies, and I will make the song. It will be dedicated to her loved one.

Is that a good idea? Bad idea? Weird? Should I ask her or not? Thanks all.

I know that there are a lot of girls (mainly younger ones) out there who are messed up and choose to date "Bad Boys" (the egoistic morans who tend to treat girls that they date like s***) over "Nice Guys" (the sensitive guys who acutally care about the feelings of others). What I don't understand is why these girls consider guys who are overbearing, obsessive, too sensitive, insecure, "creepy", and "hopeless romantics" as Nice Guys. These guys ARE NOT Nice Guys at all. They are either social outcasts who always have a negative attitude about life or they are gay. I think that these are really the types of guys that many girls are talking about when they say that they don't like nice guys. A real nice guy doesn't have any of those characteristics. Rather he is emotionally stable, independent, caring (but not overbearing), and responsible. So why do many girls mistake these guys as being the creepy and overbearing type, when it's really the OTHER guys that they don't like?

I met this guy once, I gave him my number but he was kinda drunk. Anyways, I never thought he would call me, but he did and he wanted to hang out. I had to work so we couldnt. So I decide to call him today and asked him if he still wanted to get together this week, he said yes and we are probably going to have dinner tomorrow night.
The thing is, id like to know if this happened to you; what would you think of the girl or what will you expect from her on the firts date.

ok me and my gf went through a period where we would go out on our own, i dont have a problem with that but i found out that her friend has taken guys or met up with guy friends so my thing is why dont she take me if there are guys? next (i know )but i went through her cell bill and saw a number i called (i know) and it was a guy, i asked her if she had met anyone she said no, i tell her well i called and she admitted but never had intentions just needed attention or talk. then on yahoo she told an old guy friend that she was single oh and the phone guy too. i really trust her and believe she didnt cheat or wont and still be with me, i was drunk once and kissed a girl. then she moved out for the weekend and got drunk and i again saw her bill and called a number that she called at 3 am it was a guy, but the number didnt show up again and it was only a minute long. so please help me i still think she would never cheat but just liked the attention, we still live togther and all is well.

Whenever we happen to be in the same place, walking in the same direction, or happen to coincedentally walk next to eachother or he has just gotten close to me, he RUNS AWAY. I mean after we broke up we agreed to be friends but stuff happened and we didn't talk for a year and a half. This year though, after all these years, we have started talking (hi and how are you).. I don't understand why he can't be nice and just say something when stuff like this happens in school, you know what I mean? He just automatically starts walking faster and faster until he is front of me and has left me faaaaaaarr behind. He also seems a little nervous when this happens. By the way, I am NOT the one saying "hi" or "how are you" to him, HE IS. That's when he is walking in the OPPOSITE direction from me though. What is GOING ON? Please..someone tell me! Thanks

By the way he is ALWAYS staring at me and he blushes when IF we ever talk, he gets nervous around me and is always checking me out as well.

There's this guy at school that I like (of course) I dunno if he likes me or not, but he seems shy around me, and looks away when I pass him going into my next class. When I broke something on the table, he helped me a bit. I need to know. I wanted to take her to a rascal flatts concert as she loves them but i have noticed and heard that they are not touring in CA this summer. Ok, last nite I told my boyfriend i did'nt want to have sex i told him i did'nt think i was ready(Plus it Hurts and I'm Scared).he acted really bad about it he did'nt even want to talk and did'nt tell me he loved like he usaully does even when he is mad. So all day today I was thinking we may break up i was being ready for that,but when he called he did'nt say anything about it,nothing.He kept telling me he loved me and that he missed me and wanted to see me. There's this guy who's liked me for a while and now when i'm finally giving him a chance, he decides to run away. Did i get too close? He's told me he hasn't had a girlfriend for a really long time. I'm guessing he probably doesn't know what to do. I texted him telling him how i felt. I told him that i like him but i can't keep guessing all the time about what he's thinking. it confuses me. he's showed me how much he likes me and now he just turns away and leaves me hanging? should i try to talk to him? or just leave him alone? i don't know. i need some advice.

I believe sometimes a parent has to set by and let their children find their own way. I feel like I am woman enough to make my own decisions. I am 19 yrs. old, smart, beautiful, in college, and have a boyfriend. My mom has just found out we kiss (we are saving sex until marriage) (WHICH by the way we are plannign after college) and has been harassing me about it every since. Me & my b/f of 8 mos got in an fight & we broke up. Just this past month he has pulled away. Not sure why. He works 75 hrs a week and lives an hour away from me. When we were arguing, he was telling me that I have no clue how tired he is and that he is just so frustrated with everything. He told me he is saving almost all his money so he can buy himself a house. I told him all want from him is to show some excitement to see me, since we only see each other on the weekends. I told him I felt that he didn't even really want to see me on weekends anymore since he never makes plans with me & frequently leaves me hanging. I told him I loved him and wanted to resolve things but he did not wanna listen, instead he broke it off. He initiates texts and emails that say "Just wanted to say hi, and that I sorry for the way things turned out. U are truly a great person and I hope u find what makes u happy. :* He knows what I want! Does he miss me? Will he wanna get back? Should I have hope?
