It's crazy! I never understood it. I'm sure that this happens to girls too but........ There are alot of guys who would legitimatly treat the girl that they care about like the most important person on the planet. Alot of girls say that they want a guy who would treat them that way but then you see alot of those girls turn down the guy. Even on yahoo answers alot of the girls say that this is what they want but i doubt that a large part of the group would actually stick to it. I'm not talking about guys who may be socially disasters either. Just cool guys who want to respect their girls and have a great time together. Maybe it's the idea of her knowing that he likes her so much that turns her off. I don't know. Somebody is going to say "you haven't met the right girl" and i'm just righting ahead of time to say that that doesn't make sense. It's not like the guy would be trying to find a wife. we're talking about a girlfriend.

Well Ive been dating someone for almost a year and a half and we are at colleges extremely far away me in CA him in TX well lately my parents (i live at home) are getting angry at the ammount of time i spend on the phone and internet to talk to him. Am i in the wrong for staying in a long distance relationship even though he comes down every other weekend?

I've gotten to hang out with this girl for sometime now and we've become pretty good friends, such as daily chatting, or texting. Sometimes we visit each other's work place just to hang out. She's constantly blowing off guys and telling me about them.

She has on the other hand invited me to dinner and a movie. She has also rated me a 9 from a scale of 1-10 in hotness. In addition when i jokingly mentioned i would stretch my arms in theatres to make a move, she insisted she wanted to see it. When we went with a group of people on a seperate occasion, she insisted i sit next to her and that if i continued sitting in front of her i would block her view. We walk close together a lot and play weird games. She even took my phone, decorated, and put pix of herself making weird faces and kissing the screen. She played the piano while i was napping and then jumped on me aft.

Everyone thinks we're a couple because we hang out a lot and when asked if we are, she always says i'm too good for her

I got a little upset when I found out thatthe guy I very recently met and started talking to is moving out of state, closer to his ex. I told him my suspicions about why he was moving closer to her, and I told him I thought we shouldn't see each other if that was the case.... and he denied it. So, I apologized to him for coming down so judgemental on him, and he said OK..and I said maybe we can get together soon, after all (he had asked me out before I got upset) We talked on the phone for almost two hours. Does it sound like I freaked him out a little? He told me he thought it was mean that I didn't want to talk to him in the beginnign when I found out about him moving.

There's this girl in my physics class, she sits in front of me and one seat to the right. Everything about her is sooo beautiful. Her face, her smooth tan skin, her body, her eyes everything. I'm 17, and its not really a confidence or insecurity issue at all. Its more a question of wether I should do or say something to her and let her know how I feel. Part of me really would love to let her know how I feel, to let her know how beautiful I think she is. Frankly I'm not even really scared of rejection either. Its more as if I enjoy how things are as they are already. Its kind of fun to have a secret crush that no body knows about. But at the same time, I so badly want to tell her how I feel. She's such a sweet girl too, so I know nothing bad would come of it. I honestly can't really grasp why I'm so hesitant. Any advice?

When a girl suddenly starts touching her hair [without looking at you] when you go near her. This girl at work was seated in the cafetaria and I went to the water dispenser which 'incidentally' was next to her table and as I bent down to take some water, she suddenly started stroking her hair. Means anything or am I just pushing my luck too much? Any other signs to look out for? I dont even know her name and she sits in a different floor. What excuse can I find to go talk to her? Accidentally bumping into her anywhere else in the office is a remote possibility. Girls, please help if you can.

OKay so Ive been crushing on this guy for awile now. Im not sure if he likes me back. My friends say hes showing signs, like as my friend Gabi put it, "The Way he looks at me." Or for example today I gave one of my girlfriends a hug today after school and hes like "Oh So you give HER a hug but not me?" So I hugged him. He also dumped his girlfriend today. First of all we didn’t like each other at all then one day I started to be nice to her then she started to be nice to me then one day she started to sing to she will replace words with my name and then we started to sing together then like a week later she put on her myspace she wants a boy who will sing for her. But the she put preferably while playing a guitar
But when we didn’t get a long we would sometimes talk on myspace but since we have been nice to each other she doesn’t write back to me and she dyed her hair and all she does is ask me how she looks and she asks a lot

I've called women on more than one occasion when I caught them at an inconvenient time, so they tell me they'll call me back. So I wait for their phone call but never get one. Why do they do that? If you are not going to call me back, at least don't say that you are! That is kind of like lying when you do that. I also believe you should be a person of your word.
