Well, It only depends .If a lady just wants to have someone to accompany her as only a friend on a date , or inregards of a business meeting and nothing more then, I see nothing wrong with it .Although, I am very old fashion ,and I do believe that she should be asked out by the guy not to mention if the guy was to afraid to ask her out then all he would have to do is to send her some flowers to her home !!!!!!!!

Unless the guy really likes you but is really shy to ask you out, I won't recommend it. It diminishes the pleasure of guys chasing you and makes you seem easy. Guys then would appreciate you less. The most ladies should do is flirting, I would say.

Let see how to starts this, you like someone very handsome, educated, dreams about his looks, smiles and maybe his car, or things make him more attractive to you.....right? well, dear young lady, If you go ask him to date? guess.. he will think that you want to do things first date possibly? Most of them like to chase women... right....if you run behind and show your attractions, he may not be sincere for you in the long run.. If I were you, I would find a way to areas he is interested such as football, etc.. may be favorite pub he goes.. or bookstore he visits.. Be around his group. But , would not ask him to have a date? wait and until he sees you in his eyes. if you really like him, he can see it.. I would make him to first initiation. If he wants to take you to movie or dinner or dance...etc. do not forget.. Most of men like classy, sophisticated lady to go places.. you wait he will ask you .. if he does write back to us here. good night, classy young lady.

Girls should ask guys out, of course. Women have been asking for equal rights for decades, now, and the stereotype of the shy girl who is afraid to even call a guy on the phone is ridiculously out-dated. Go for it if you like him!

NO, because guys should do the asking. It's a guy thing. They should have to work up the courage and it actually takes the fun away from them when a girl asks. Then the guy knows that you like him. He should ask. Just like men should pay on the first few dates and be chivalrous..that's human nature.

Not exsclusively. Maybe suggesting it- but it is quite uncommon for a girl to arrange activities and invite a man out for a good time on her. It's too much role reversal and he might say yes just to be nice, or because he thinks she is after sex. I think women can do whatever they want but in a new relationship its WISER to get yourself asked out by him. It's sort of his job...For Long-term couples these rules need not apply and I'm sure he would love for the pressure to be off every now and then.

If its the first time then make it a group thing. Later on you can ask him more directly.
