There's not really a specific age. I think that once you find that one special person that gives you butterflies when you hear their name and who's smile brightens your day you're ready. Every one finds their first special person at a different age. I found mine at the age of 12, 11 days before my thirteenth birthday. I am upset to say that we are no longer together but I still talk to him. Remember, when you do find that special person, when it's over, don't let the friendship end too.

My first girlfriend was in the 6th grade, but let me tell you any relationship that young was pretty much pathetic. I don't regret it at all though. they were fun and all but you won't find anything serious until you're like 16-18 at least.

serious relationship I would say 20's- normally becomes marriage
For more having fun and sex- 12 (sex is 14-18), these are more 2 years relationship or longer mainly dont last past teens
