I have long beautiful locks of brown shiny hair but my twin sis. has red short hair & no one will go out with her! We have the exact same face and everything, but hair!!!!!!!! What can I do to get her a date, this would be her first, she's in high school senior!!

That is not an ugly combo. I have red hair and I am having the time of my life. Men like red hair. Just tell her to keep growing her hair out. If it is short, put highlights and style it a little. Those high school boys don't know what they want. They always seem to focus on the outside and forget about the inside. When she goes to college, it's a whole new world and the boys are grown up too. Well, the older ones anyways. Have fun and good luck!

I am all for people liking other people for who they are but that said, we all can use a little tweaking from time to time to give us an edge. So how about this....guys love longer hair...hey no one should know this better than you right?...so why don't you encourage her to grow her hair out and depending on the kind of red hair she has she can be a knockout. Another option you could discuss is dying her hair but I am on the fence about that one and still another thing I would do is to focus on enhancing her good features so as to draw attention to them. Lets say she had beautiful legs...then get her to wear more skirts or dresses or if she has a cute figure try and accentuate the positive of her figure and thus maybe less attention would be paid to the hair....Good Luck!

only some few men are insane enough to go with red heads. My sister is one. They are temperamental domineering creatures that are dangerous to play with. I know I wanted to kill my sister all the time while we were growing up and I even almost did poison her once ( I didn't because I was worried about my parents feelings), and you know if I did I probably would not have regretted it. It takes a very special kinda guy ( Mental vegetable, or reckless beyond reason) to deal with Red heads. Keep looking I'm sure you will find one as they are out there. My Sister has a Husband after all... And he's a really cool guy ( though he's uber mellow AND reckless beyond reason...

This is a generalization of course, but some people think red heads are a bit "crazy." Although I was in love with one so I can't really say why they're not interested in your sister.
Find a guy that is maybe on the shy side and see if your sister gets along with him. Come to think of it, why don't you ask your sister if she has anyone in mind?

Maybe she could grow it a little longer. Red hair is unique, beautiful and getting rare. Pretty soon there may not be too many out there with natural red hair. She should be proud of it.
Try to set her up with some of your guy friends. Or get your man to help with one of his buddies.

I love redheads but they are often associated as being wild (and maybe a little psycho) which is great for me ;-). Short red hair is not very appealing though, tell her to grow it out. Long, red hair looks great.

You can't "get her a date". She has to do that herself, and I doubt she wants charity. There has to be something else other than her hair. You are two different people. Maybe she's shy. Encourage her to make friends with and get to know some guys she likes. Once she gets to know them, she may feel comfortable asking one out, or maybe they'll ask her out. Good luck.

its because red heads are consider crazy and not activated when we have short hair. trust me I'm a red head that just cut all my hair off and now i could not get a date eather but now that its growing in I'm getting tones. tell her to grow her hair out.

at your age, not too many guys (like me) like short-haired girls. tell her not to change for anyone, the right man wiill come for her soon enough! I actually like redheads the best. Personally, i think only older women (and Sheryl Crow) can pull off short hair. But that's me.

Aw, I'm sorry......she really isn't missing out on anything, I never dated in high school either because every guy was either an alcoholic or a druggie.....Red heads are beautiful with their porcelain skin, the guys are missing out and its their loss.
