Singles & Dating - 5 March 2007

I am in a relationship for nearly 8 yrs with the same girl. We have had a lot of memories together and we often talk of the next step - marriage. I am a little scared because I am starting to see other women because of my work - it allows and requires me to do a lot of networking. I am starting to find a lot of flaws and annoyances with my current girl. Is this just a phase I am going through or is it something more. How do I know if I am falling out of love?

I always wondered what Asian women (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) women really thought about dating Filipino guys. Don't get me wrong, I got tons of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean friends and have dated all types of asian women. But for some reason I get the feeling that some other Asian women don't think very highly of Filipino men. I sometimes think that they have this attitude of thinking they are too good for us and that we are not in the same class as them as far as dating and social status is concerned.

I know all about the stereotypes of Filipino men. You know, the shaved head, ghetto clothing style, racing cars, break dancers, who at times are not articulate and can't speak proper english at times (steet slang).

I know that my friends wouldn't tell me in up front, but I don't really think they want to date Filipino guys because they think we are so ghetto. I'm just curious to know what other asian women really think.

Before you read this, I just want to warn you that the following might be a little disturbing.

I have love my second cousin for 8 years and even though he told 7 1/2 years ago that he doesn't love me as a girlfriend, I am still deeply in love with him. I just seems to not be able to get him out of my mind. There were so much memories between us. It is hard to get rid of those memories. I have tried a lot of methods to forget him, such as focusing on something else and not think about him, but of course, that was no success.
With his work, he doesn't come back to visit as often anymore. Oh by the way, I forgot to slip in that I found out that he has a girlfriend 4 years ago. But again, I am still in love with him. So even though I don't see him very often, like once or twice a year for the past two or three years, I am still in love with him. I know what you guys are thinking. Disgusting, in love with your cousin. I am sorry for the disturbance, but that is the plain truth. Help?

I just started a job and in my hire orientation group there was a really cute guy.He is like 10 years younger than me but we chat for a few minutes here and there when we see eachother and I catch him looking at me.Im heavy set but I have been told I have a KILLER sense of humor and am really fiesty and make people smile and laugh. He and I work different shifts. I gave him my cell phone # but he hasnt called.I dont know how to ask him if he has a girlfriend and if he doesnt would he date anyone at work.Particulary a heavy set single mother. Our work has a strict "sexual harrassment" policy.Do I just wait to see if he will ever make his move? how can I ask him without seeming pushy/desperate/easy?Ive NEVER considered dating a coworker til now.

ok, i saw many questions asking when they lost their virginity, and i have no problem with that.
but there's just one thing i don't get, i saw some people lost their virginity at like 13 ,12 ,11 and even 10. do u think the people that wrote these answers really lost their virginity THAT early?
or do u think they r lying?
and also, if u r one of these people that lost their virginity at THAT early age. can u explain to me why u did it, like was it by force? and if u did, do u regret it?

in this case would the best friend be off limits...
ok so Josh and I were dating for about five months.. but we were not yet "official".. thought we soon would be.. but then out of the blue one night his best friend texts me and says he has started liking some other chick for the past 3 weeks.. so he led me on for 3 weeks cuz he still said he liked me and crap. so then after about a week his best friend told me HE himself really had started to like me (because of all my opening up to him and stuff i guess..) but i kept telling him off (for about a month.. because i was still heart broken and didn't even want to Think about liking someone else.. let alone his best friend..) but then i went on our first date tonight with his best friend and i Really have started to like him. is this wrong... is the Best Friend always off limits? because i have heard this from many..? also, the guy Josh now has that girl as his gf.. so it's not like he cares.. because he also Knows Now that he likes me..

I'm the type of person who if I feel someone isn't interested I leave them be. But in the last 3 month I found out 2 women were interested in me but wanted me to "chase them." I normally just call, call again and leave message, and thats it. Should I be calling a week, 2 weeks after that? Just curious to know what people think about being in love and having love for someone...I love my best guy friend and now he thinks I'm IN LOVE with him when the case is, I'm not...I tried to explain to him that I love him that I can trust him to the fullest, I'm there for him 100% day or night, basically I'd do anything (almost) for him...but Im not "I'm in love with you let's get married right now." Then he ran over and kicked her swiftly in the butt. It looked like something I did in 7th grade. She's 18 and he's 20. What is going on here? Are they flirting? Are they secret lovers? She's the one who's super jealous of me! Then she said he wouldn't talk to her all day because I was there. But in reality, he hadn't talked to me because he'd been "fussing" with her all day. He was tring to speak to me when suddenly he needed to "kick her azz". Then he came back an apologized to me for letting her interrupt. I said I forgive him since he kicked her and she needed her butt kicked....in my opinion!

I joined a military singles website. I havent posted a pic yet but my profile tells the military men that I am overweight. This Army guy started to email me and then we started to email eachother through out personal emails.Everything was cool.We talked about EVERYTHING and always made eachother laugh.He emailed me quite often and we would even make up little stories of sexually fantasies involiving what we would do to the other one.He is twice divorced(he got cheated on both times and he has 4 kids).
