Singles & Dating - 5 March 2007

I was supposed to have a special date with my bf yesterday. It was to be special because he had plans last Mon. and Wed. and said he wanted to make it up to me and take me to dinner on Sun. On Sat. night he asked if he could take me at 4 cause he had to go to work in the morning. I agreed. Yesterday, I started calling him at 2 to confirm and his phone was off. He usually always picks up at his place of work. I finally left a message and a text saying that I thought we had plans. I was mad by 3:30. I called his job and they said he wasn't there. He finally called at 4, mad that I left messages and said that me complaining on the voicemail gave him a headache and didn't want to go to dinner. I asked where he was calling from and he said work (even though his coworker said he hadn't been there) I called him right back and the phone was off again until later on that day. I'm so upset that I want to go and get my things from his house today and break it off. He hasn't even apologized.

ok so i moved and left my friends and family,started a new job in a small office,theres a nice mix of male and female,everyone knows im out of town and the guys love my accent,i like to think im a attractive girl with a funny sense of humour and have fun with the guys here,recently though the girls havent been talking to me,inviting me to lunch etc im gettin the feelin they talk behind my back..i think they feel ive stolen there thunder,these chicks are the sort with of chicks with the fake tan,fake weave fake nails but they are pretty etc,i know its because the boys always involve me at lunch,breaks and they dont try and chat me up we just have a good laugh,whats up with these girls,i havent said anything offensive to them and get along with anyone but im not going to brown nose anyone,should i just have it out with them???

my boyfriend and i got back 2getha after breaking up 4 3wks, i realli plsd and so is he, things have got alot better between us. all is going well we resolved the problems we wer having. but then 2day he told me that the guys he wrks with dnt no we r back 2getha cause they wld give him stick bout it i got annoyed at him, hes not realli m8s with them n wldnt c them out of wrk and he said that he has told anyone that needs 2 no and they dnt need 2. he just dnt wna cause agro with them i ave 2 admit they are annoyin and i dnt like them neway but its just the principle of the thing. i think i mite have over reacted wats ur opinion?

Do you think it can reach love and marriage or is it always a time-killing sort of thing. Well there is this man I have been talking to since like 3 years. Actually we lost contact for like a year and a half or more but he reinitiated it. We fancy each other so much to the extent that if it were in real life we would be all over each other. It is so romantic and madly sensual too. It is romantically sensual, sensually romantic kind of thing. I sometimes want it so much to be real though I have little belief in this happening. Okay heres my situation, i am engaged to this guy, i am totally and completely in love with him, he says he loves me, but he isnt really trying, i always call him, email, him and talk to him first, im always making the first move, and i confronted him about it, he said he will change but he hasnt, plus im hearing things from people that he is saying things about us that never happened, and then talking trash about me, but the person im hearing these things from likes me, but i have been friends with him for a long time, and i trust him, but then i hear from other people that he never said one bad thing about me, i dont know what to do, do end it?? He is kind-hearted, loving and has a great sense of humor.

But...

He is turning 34, yet still shares a 3-bed-room apartment with 2 guys. ( They are all straight in case some of you may wonder if he is gay). He does not drive and has no driver's license. He lives in a big city so there is public transportation. He has a job that pays the bill and finds it very hard to save. He is a smoker.

We both are so similar, and both told each other that we thought we'd never meet anyone who was like us.

He's told me all the secretive things he does, and he knows that I find what other people may think is lame, actually adorable, and so similar to what I would do.

He even confessed to me that he's told his friends about how he is so excited he met me. And his mother guessed something was up b/c he was all ecstatic on the phone.

He even asked me if I believed in a God, Fate and Destiny. I said I believe and Fate, and that there is a God, but I take the day one at a time.

I asked him, he said he believed in Destiny to me.

I've never been in a relationship like this before... Is he just as crazy about me as I am about him?

alot of fine mommas without the pappa in the mall and I wanted to know if I should go after them? She was the one that got away and had a realistic dream about us getting together and spilling our guts about why we are not together. Should I go look for her and tell her that we need to give ourselves a second/first chance? Or if I do find her, should I just say hi and then walk away like I did in high school? Or option C, tell her I want her and have lots of sex with her to make up for lost time? What would you do if you woke up with a sticky situation like this? Two years ago my BF and I went through a rough patch and he turned to this tramp who wanted to be there for him. Well he chose to work things out with me rather than be with her, and ever since on the occasion that I have run into her at a social event she has been cold.. no big deal, but I just found her and him emailing. At first was the usual "how is life going stuff" no big deal, but than the conversation got a little flirty and dirty. We have been engaged for a few months, and I heard that she is engage. But I am SOOO mad!. I confronted him, he said he wouldn't email her anymore, but the next day she sent him an email and it started all over again. I confronted him AGAIN! he was mad that I checked behind him, but he has agreed to get help because of his "low self-esteem" and how he had a hard time because it was an ego trip to have her email him.

B/c I've got it. I had been pushing early on for her to open up a little, but gave up on it happening and just sorta went with the flow. Until last night. We had a few drinks with dinner and a couple after. Long story short, she told me some really interesting stuff. It's apparent that she's got some really heavy stuff buried in her past, and it's her past which I accept, but it's also evident she wants to get past it. So, like I said, she told me some stuff that I want to talk about with her in more detail, but talking to her today, it sounds like she doesn't remember a whole lot after dinner. How do I handle this?
