what do you do when the guy you like seems like he just likes you for a friend and he then tells you that he loves you but isn't in love with you?

see this guy is like one of my greatest friends and i thought that i didn't like him 4 more than a friend because when he broke up with me he said he liked clingy women and that i wasn't clingy enough for him.

now that i found out i still like him and he likes me but i'm not sure wether he likes me as in girlfriend type likes me. what should I do?

My boyfriend was writting letters to girls online and telling them that they were beautiful, and that he was single and he would be the luckiest guy in the world if he could date them. I confronted him about it, and he said it was his depression that made him do it. He said that he just didnt care, and that he couldnt control himself. I want to believe him, but i cant, is that really something that someone would do if they had depression?? we are taking a break and are just friends right now, but not even 2 min, after we broke up, he had made a new myspace and started messaging girls again, and he had changed his profile saying that he was single, and looking for a relationship. The reason why he told me that we were taking a break was to make himself better for me in the future. But he is still looking for someone else i think. should i believe him, or is BSing me???

I have this guy, and he seems too like me a lot, we go to movies together, out to dinner and talk all the time...but sometimes I feel like he is just using me for sex...this past weekend we got really loaded at a group party, and he pulled me into his room...we ended up having sex and after I had a break down and finally told him that I love him....now he won't talk to me, but before he said that he missed me soo much when I was gone and that he never wants me to go again! ok so last night me and my boyfriend had this big fight. it didnt go over well at all. well today things seem a little better. we stayed up til 4am texting when he had to get up at 6am.lol. but that doesnt matter. so things arent going so great cuz he doesnt seem to have time for me. yeah i know he had all these priorities before i came into his life and i respect that big time. he works 5 days a week...goes to college 2 days and then is in two bands the other nights of the week. its really draining on me since i never get to spend alone time with him. the only really time i get to see him is when we pass eachother at school and it breaks my heart!! he says he loves me and all and i believe him, but he just doesnt have time. we talk everyday and hes still just as sweet as ever! but he says that things will get better in a couple weeks...i believe him. how should i continue to deal with it? were even talking about getting married.haha. help anyone?? thanks and greatly apperciated

I left a V.mail asking him to call me when it was convenient. He called me back in the middle of his grand-daughters birthday party (i didn't know it was still going on). I came right out and started blabbing about how this wasnt working, he was breaking my heart by not following thru on comitments etc. and all he said was "alrighty then, I'll call you back later, I'm at ..... party right now" and he never called back. I feel like there is so much more to hear and say but I dont want to call him to hear it. After a few hours I sent him an email explaining myself better but he hasnt replied to that either. OMG I dont know if i've done the right thing or not - long distance relations are so difficult as it is, but without him contacting me it is unbelievably stressful. Should I call him and ask to talk more or should I consider his silence his way of dealing with it and just end this relationship on that note?

Well I was with this head cheerleader for 3years and her mom made her go to camp. All girl camp. When she came back at the first day of school she had a new boyfriend and he was a new guy at the school. So then I made a bet with friends that can pickup any of these girls and turn them into homecoming queen. When I first saw this girl I thought she was just horrible. But when meet the real her she was perfect and I loved her family too. She was everything I would want in a girl. I'm a 39 yr old guy who works full time, going to school taking 16 credits this semester and is a single dad. I asked this question not to long ago and got some good answers but was wondering if there really is something wrong with me. Every time I try to talk to a female, I have forgotten what to say or do. I have no problems interacting with females I work with but anything outside of work is painful for me. The thing of it is, is that I was in a relationship for 7 yrs and the best thing out of that was my beautiful daughter. Now 2 yrs later after my relationship has been done I still find myself alone, longing for the touch and company of a women. The biggest problem I'm having is the female not understanding that my daughter comes first and that is the bottom line. Anybody would take a back seat to her it's just how it's going to be. I don't know, why can't anybody understand that a bond between father and daughter is stronger than anything I have ever felt. Thank You

Let me start by saying I DO NOT SUSPECT HIM OF CHEATING but I sincerely believe there are things my fiance is not telling me concerning his ex-wife and children. His ex has to call because of the children, however before me he wasn't getting his kids at all. I told him it was unexceptable, that if he would spend time with mine, he needs to see his and he did. However, recently he told me he was "taking a break" from getting the kids. I asked why and he said he was just tired. I've developed an admittedly bad habit of checking his cell for texts and vmails from her (long story) and discovered a new message from a week ago (he didn't listen to it) where she was saying she was sorry for something and hopefully he'll start getting the kids again. I'm thinking WHAT has happened that she's sorry for and that would make him stop getting the kids. If I ask him directly I'll have to fess up to having checked his vmail -but should I be willing to do that to find out what the hell is going?

And we talked about our feelings. Six years later, we dont talk about our feelings.
I feel like I pushed him away, 4 years ago. He was soo clingy and now I want that. I want him to tell me he loves me and only me. That I am beautiful, I am the only girl for him. We went and picked out rings 4 years ago. Then everything changed. Like we grew up, we cant get away from each other now, but are still not going any where.
Will we ever get that back?

Well ive worked with this girl for 4 months now, and ive finally worked up the courage to ask her out. Im a fulltime college student, and i work full time. I have a night class tonight from 5pm till we get done, usually 9. My plan is, if we get out by 9, im gana shoot down to Burger King (where we work) and ask her out. If she says yes then when i leave im gana go to the store and get her a rose, on my way back to school im going to leave the rose on her car, without her knowing so she finds it when she gets out. dose this sound like a good plan? also what exactly should i say? Ive never done this before, and im so shy i just dont want to screw it up. Should i just ask her if she wants to see a movie with me on tuesday? or do i ask her if she wants to go on a date sometime? i have no idea, please help me!

So theres this girl I know I love, not like but love. I've known her for two years now and never once did my affections quit. Even though shes really beautiful I really love her for who she is. Now the problem is after a year of when I first met her...she got a boyfriend. And they have been dating now(to my continual torment) for almost a year. What makes me angry is that when I see a picture of them together, I dont get jealous because Im just glad shes happy. She doesn't know how I feel about her. But I know she likes me as a friend. Should I wait till they break up? Should I keep my love a secret and become more of a friend to her? Or should I just tell her and hope the cause wont hurt our friendship?
I've tried to just forget about her...but after months of trying I only failed. Trust me I know there are plenty of fish out there in this ocean but for me there is only one that caries the keys to my heart.
Last couple of details, She said to her friend that Im cute and cool.

i really like this guy and i know he likes me. Hes been giving me lots of hints lately about us getting together and also inituating a lot of physical contact. Apart from that hes also told my friend he likes me. I really want to ask him out, but the thing is, up until about a month ago i thought he just liked my friend and no one else.
