Well ive worked with this girl for 4 months now, and ive finally worked up the courage to ask her out. Im a fulltime college student, and i work full time. I have a night class tonight from 5pm till we get done, usually 9. My plan is, if we get out by 9, im gana shoot down to Burger King (where we work) and ask her out. If she says yes then when i leave im gana go to the store and get her a rose, on my way back to school im going to leave the rose on her car, without her knowing so she finds it when she gets out. dose this sound like a good plan? also what exactly should i say? Ive never done this before, and im so shy i just dont want to screw it up. Should i just ask her if she wants to see a movie with me on tuesday? or do i ask her if she wants to go on a date sometime? i have no idea, please help me!

Wow, that sounds like you're a little nervous(the good kind of nervous) and definitely excited about this girl. Your plan sounds great. You seem like a nice guy and I hope it will work out for you.I don't know what vibes the girl has given you so I'm not sure asking her to a movie would be the best thing to do. I like going out with a group of people. That takes away from the possible tension and at the same time allows you to get to know each other better. I'm sure you already thought about the consequences of asking out a co-worker. If things don't work out you might be in a bad spot working at the same place. But then, this isn't your career and you could change jobs should that happen. Sounds like you got it figured out and I'm sure you will do well. Being shy doesn't mean you can't go for your goals.

I wouldn't leave a rose, as that makes a girl feel like the guy is starting to BUY her affections. Don't start with the gift giving too soon. Perhaps you could ask HER what she prefers to do. Say that you thought you would take her to a movie, but if she can think of a better idea, to throw it out there. A movie is always a good idea, but I would find out what kinds of movies she likes. If she likes romance, but you like comedies, then go for a romantic comedy. If you like war movies, but she likes space movies, then just settle for an adventure movie. compromise. That way it is fun for you both. But, remember to GO SLOW. After the night out, don't buy her anything, and dont' even call for several days---after all, you will see her at work. Don't suffocate her. Just take it slow, and she will like you all the more.

no, dont do the rose thing, ive done it, it makes them think your, well i dont know what it makes them think, but it doesnt work like in the movies, just ask her, hey, im gonna go see a movie, and id really like it if i had some company, wanna join me, and if she declines, dont grauble, just go see the movie by yourself, that way if she asks about it, you can honestly say you went and saw it, just dont seem desperate, and being too sweet doesnt work either, theyre a strange creature, so you gotta approach each one differently untill you know how to act with them, they may act similar, but they are each different in their own way i promise you

Just ask her if she'd like to go out sometime....if she says yes...then bring the rose to her on the date....it will show her how thoughtful you are. Best of luck to you!
