A new guy i am seeing (about a month) stood me up on staurday night by casually telling me he was at a dinner and got caught up..after calling me five times earlier in the day for various silly reasons and to ensure that i would be ready at 10pm...
So i sent him an sms telling to call me when he learnt how to treat a lady properly...
He hasn't called - to apologize
Was I too bitchy?

I called him to tell him I would be ready on time he didn't answer and he called back after 40 mins - after telling me that he was caught up I then received a silly 'sorry baby' via sms - which aggravated me plus the night before when i didn't hear my phone ringing as i was at dinner with my sister - he called 12 times consecutively..
I think he is a big baby at the mature age of 32!!
Good riddance- find another victim i say

He did you a huge favor by showing his true colors early.
After dissing you the first time, he would have repeated the disrespect again and again in ever increasingly frustrating ways.
Reach around and pat yourself on the back for not settling for a selfish immature guy.

You were right to do what you did and he has the option of dealing with it. It's hard to plan your life when trying to accommodate other people who have no respect for you or your time. He should have just let you know that being with you was not a top priority. Let this be a lesson to you that some guys will never learn how to treat anyone properly.

You have every right to tell him that. If he was insisting on you being there on time, then he "got caught up at the dinner" and stood you up? That's just disrespectful. Did he call you while you were waiting, or after you had left?
If he asked you to be there, he should have been more concerned with his also being there.
You can find someone who will be there every time.

I will tell you you are right in what you did. If he can't accept what HE did and learn from his mistakes well then he is not the guy you should be going after. Trust me on this one I have learned that lesson and nothing is worse than when you want someone and can't have them because you hurt them so bad. It is the worst feeling in the world and maybe this is what this guy needs if he wants you back. But I think you are going to be just fine you will find that nice guy and be happy

He deserved it. if he wasn't going to keep the date like proposed, then he should have just came out with it instead of making you feel like it is on your shoulders. So, no you weren't too bitchy.
