Careful what I wish for?

B/c I've got it. I had been pushing early on for her to open up a little, but gave up on it happening and just sorta went with the flow. Until last night. We had a few drinks with dinner and a couple after. Long story short, she told me some really interesting stuff. It's apparent that she's got some really heavy stuff buried in her past, and it's her past which I accept, but it's also evident she wants to get past it. So, like I said, she told me some stuff that I want to talk about with her in more detail, but talking to her today, it sounds like she doesn't remember a whole lot after dinner. How do I handle this?

you have to wait until she is ready, she opened up after a few drinks, showing she needed help to do so, dont push, be patient, build up trust and she will realize she can rely on you not to be judgemental, difficult i know but you say you can live with what she told you, she is obviously moving on from it all, still a difficult period for her, when she has finally moved on she will be able to talk about it more freely

That was liquid courage talking and she likely wont open up to anyone about her past until she is ready. Let it go for now let her trust you first.lol

sit with her alone be sure she is calm and happy. talk to her be honest that u want to talk to her about such and such things
if she said she doesnt want to talk about it just get over it dont talk about it u r there to make her happy not to remind her of a bad past besides u dont need to know her past to be close to her just forget about ...its better to know if she wants to talk about it if not just let it go
