I know what you're saying. I think it's either that you don't love him anymore (possibly, you never did to the degree you let yourself believe you did), or you've just let distance and being separate from him distance you emotionally as well. And either way, it's most likely a positive thing for you if you aren't together anymore.

You can look at it sort of the same way it would be if someone died---for a long time, you would be overcome with your feelings and pain. But after time passes, you accept it, and you don't have as powerful emotions about it. It's not that you didn't love that person, it's just that things change, you can no longer have contact with them, and you have focused on other things. Of course if someone has died, things are a more intense,a nd likely you will always have some special emotion about them. But it's more distant, still. The emotions aren't right there anymore, and in the case of a romantic breakup (not a death!), maybe they've dissipated entirely.

I'm quite thankful that it happens, because if every feeling stayed as powerful as it was when you were with someone, or when you first lost someone, it would be hard to carry on and function every day! And certainly if your love for someone never cooled after a breakup, it'd be hard to date someone else. It's a big relief to be able to look back at my journals and laugh at the things I used to write about someone who eventually broke my heart. If I still felt the way I did for them back then, I'd be in trouble!

All the best to you!

yeah that happens. I think that's a good thing because it could make you heal the pain from not having a person in your life. The bad part could be if I see this person again in real life, since it's not a pic, it could trigger some feeling and I don't want that.

You never truly loved them. You might of liked him or lusted after him but if you truly love someone no matter what happens that feeling never goes away. When you love someone you can feel like you do not want to be with them anymore but at the same time you hope for the best for them and they always succeed in life.

Its ok to fall outta love with some one. Happens some times.
Dont feel bad and smile and be happy that you have moved on.

You will find love again with some one else.
