I'm thirty and I want to save sex for marriage. I haven't found her yet, and I want for my first time to be extra special. What would you say if we met for a few dates? Do you agree wth my choice? Do you think I'm square?

I think that it is nice of you to do this. I think it is very honorable of you. That doesn't mean you have to avoid physical contact with women...i'm 17 though, and I don't know how all those horny 30 something women feel.

I think its wonderful that you are saving yourself for marriage and i would suggest you tell who ever it is your dating that.

After i had been dating my guy for about 2 years i decided i was ready to give myself to him, i wanted it but i also thought he really wanted it. I made it very clear that i thought we should finally well have sex one weekend though i never said it outloud. He kept making excuses for why he didn't want to hang out and stuff like that. I got concerned and thought it was just me, because i knew he had slept with other people before. It was a long while later before he told me that he really cared for me and he wanted to wait because of that. I was fine with that but for a long time i didn't understand, so just tell your girl how you feel.

I beleive you haave very strong morals and are very smart to do this I saved myself for the person I married well not until we wed but you know what I mean it felt right and we loved each other tons have been married almost 8 yrs. I would think most women would think it very appealing that a man has saved themselves for there true love.GOOD LUCK AND REMEMBER LOVE WILL FIND YOU WELL THAT HOW IT WORKED WITH ME ANYWAYS.

its your choice and there is nothing wrong with that. if i met a guy that said he was saving himself for marriage i would respect his decision. people put too much pressue on this subject, it shouldnt be such a big deal on whether you have sex or not. just stick to your guns ;)

Why-- do you think they would take it badly? I think it's cute, in a respectable kind of way. [Really-- I wasn't making fun of you. "Cute" is just my favourite adjective =D]
