when i was an atheist i lived for the world. i didn't fear god. I worshipped myself. actually i did believe in god. but i was foolish to believe hell and satan would be a party in the next life. He gave me phsyical strength. I felt good but still was lonely and had noone to turn to. it's an empty feeling. you feel you have no purpose. God ultimately took me down (injured). gave me time to think clearly and saved me.

and love that they are a part of my life and that I have them and all the heavenly angels to protect,guide,and pray too everyday of my life for anything.

Most I do believe have no faith at all or choose to live a life more like if I see it then fine but if I don't it doesn't exist.

I do not feel empty without God. I have myself, my life, my loves, my pets, the planet, ghosts in my house... there is sooo much out there, I would not even have time for God if I believed in God. But I am atheist so it works for me.

What has God ever done for you? Has he given you food when your hungry? Cooked it and bought it for you? Has he given you shelter when you haven't had a place to live, or sheltered you from bad weather when you were out on the street? Has God ever protected you from someone who was about to attack you or rape you?
Maybe if you didn't have everything handed to you on a silver spoon and had to struggle just to live then you would understand that God has nothing to with it. I can't rely on anyone but myself to provide for myself. And if I lose my job tomorrow I sincerely doubt that God is going to show up at my door and pay the rent.

i do believe in God and i am a christian, but its wierd i dont feel very close to God anymore and i dont pray to God when i have problems. Does this mean im not a christian???
