I got her e-mail address and phone number from the university alumni office. They had to contact her first to get permission. She already knows I'm interested. It will be no shock to her.

it wasnt a silly thing to do. if you are both single and tings ended good between you then you might have just made another love match. if it were me and things ended good and you contacted me after all this time i would def talk to you. espaecially considering you had to go through some drama to even get her contact info. and the thought that you did all that just to talk to her again would make any woman want to talk to you again. even if it is just friendship thats more than youve had for the last 12 years

It all depends on how your relation was at the moment you 'left' each other and what souvenirs she has of you. Personnally, I am always delighted to see or hear about someone from my past. Last year I saw this friend I hadn't seen for 25 years, I had a huge crush on him when I was 10 (!) it was a great day and I was very very happy to catch up with him.

unless it ended on good terms, and the E-mail was "hey, just wanting to say hi! see how you're doing!" If it's like that, then I'd be surprised, no doubt, and since she's not married...who knows? maybe cupid will hit you two with his magic arrow of love again..

how do u noe she doesnt have a family members already or something..i imagine you ought to talk with her and save in ideas each and each of the reliable cases of wen you've been youthful first then once your all stuck up..nd wen the on the spot is sweet..ask her out!

It was a creepy thing to do. You sound like a stalker. How did you have her e-mail in the first place. Did you hire a private investigator? If she found out you did, she is going to move, change locks, change name probably. This is from a male perspective, but you need it cause you're creepy.
