Just curious to know what people think about being in love and having love for someone...I love my best guy friend and now he thinks I'm IN LOVE with him when the case is, I'm not...I tried to explain to him that I love him that I can trust him to the fullest, I'm there for him 100% day or night, basically I'd do anything (almost) for him...but Im not "I'm in love with you let's get married right now." How is it for me to explain it to him better that I love him, not in love where I want to go rush off and have 12 of his babies!?

Just give him the old i love you like your were my big/little brother. I feel like your a part of my family and I want you to understand that I want you as that someone i can depend as a friend and you can do the same as a close brother and sister would.

I think going the brother/sister route be the best and nicest way to explain to him without hurting his feelings.

Haha! As some of the others have gotten at, tell him the old " why can't I find somebody like you only not you" LOL!
Honestly, I'd find someone that you are interested in that he might know about and then make out to sound like more... Ask him for advice about this other guy and what you should do to get his attention. Nothing needs to happen with the other one, but it will hopefully get the point across that you are looking for something/someone else other than what you share with him. To help him to understand that you do care for him in a lesser sence, I'd maybe tell him how you appreciate him being there to help you and that you are equally there for him in return. In this way you make it appear evenly balanced, even if you are creating an image for his benefit. The point of this is that he'll understand he's not the one your looking for, and that the two of you are friends, good friends, who can share almost anything within those limits. It sounds like he might not want to except this information, so you might have to put some space between the two of you until he can grasp that you are not his girl and that you have other interest. I'm not suggesting to be mean, but trying to get this point across can be hard, especially if they aren't seeing things from the same reality as you are. Worse case scenario, you may just have to "break up" with him. This is a tough situation to deal with for anyone at any time. I wish you the best of luck with it.
