Singles & Dating - 22 February 2007

It's been almost a year since thier affair ended. Even though they never had sex, it was a total emotional relationship. They talked everyday and said I LOVE YOU! I knew what was going on and believed him when he said he'd stop. It's been almost a year since it did end and now I can't get the whole thing out of my head. I don't try to think about it, I just do. I'm affraid it'll ruin us. He has changed for the better i just don't trust him and i'm always re-living the whole ordeal several times a day in my head. How do i get it out of my head so we can move forward?

I had an affair with a married man few years ago (I was still single then by the way). Till today I can't forget the passion that we'd once shared! at the age of 18 cleared the medical entrance exam, could not join as family condiions did not allow, loved like mad for 2 years at the age of 24, she walked our for money/some still unknown mysteries. "Age 25, father in hospital asks to marry, son obeys, the most dissatifactory life follows. Age 28 another dream disillusioned, after teaching for 4 years in a govt. school, realised that it was a slow professional death as it was a non competitive enviornment.... at this stage... looking for a reason to live..... can you give one?

I'm not a self concious guy or anything, I don't spend lots of money on clothes or waste time on my appearance. I just feel wierd when girls stare at me and say nothing. If I talk to them or they talk to me, the awkwardness goes away, but sometimes it's hard to start conversations with complete strangers who are staring you down, you know.

I am in true love with a girl from our grade (i'm in 9th grade, 14 yrs)
here, in india, love at this age is very uncommon,
but i realllllllllly love her very much
we've been good frndz for 8 years....i like her a lot
i dunno whether she loves me at all...
my feelings arent sexual, but i think i cant live without her

I havent had sex in over a year and four months and Im scared that when the moment arise when I meet a girl that I would be a dissapointment for her and not meet up to her standerds. I need some advice! My boyfriend has recently gotten into motorcycles and going to races. I have no problem with him going out of town to races but he was planning on going next weekend to Daytona "Bike week". I looked on the internet to see what kind of events go on there because I have always heard it was wild. Well, there are NO races going on and all there will be is partying. All the photos were of naked women walking around, wet t-shirt contests, etc.-- really nothing to do with motorcycles. I told him I did not feel comfortable with him going, because I was never invited. He got mad and said he wasn't going and now he is making me feel bad. Was I wrong???

I've been seeing her for a minute now. She's a drinker. I drink and smoke weed. I don't think anything is wrong with smoking weed and I like to be proud of who I am but if I tell her she might not like me anymore. I know it's better to be honest and if she doesn't like me for me then...well ya know. But I just like her so much. Should I take the chance. Maybe she won't agree but she might not judge me either. Maybe we can appreciate eachother's differences. Would it be an automatic deal breaker for you.

What does it mean when your boyfriend always "forgets" to buy condoms, when it is his turn? Either that, or he complains that it is embarrassing. Even though he knows that if he doesn't, he won't get sex. Also, he barely ever initiates sex anyway.

This is after four years of dating -- started after about 2 years, though.
