no it will fall off in your sleep you should try the tape it will work best, unless you want to put super glue on your lips before you go to sleep. Guarenteed they will not eaisly come apart so you will not be talking, mumbling maybe, but not talking.

First of all, why is this in a singles/dating section? If you sleep in the same room as your little girl, where does the dating life come into this?

Second, who talks in their sleep so loudly and often as to wake somebody else?

Third, if you take the sex shop gags route, ball gags are a terrible idea for multiple reasons -- jaw pressure/ache/eventual damage, drool, etc. Other gags have lesser problems. Don't do them. Besides, what if you had to call for help in an emergency, or call out to your daughter?

So the "white noise" approach is the right one. Raise the noise level in the room in a way that doesn't hurt anybody's sleep.

Wow, that's great. You're having sleep trouble so to avoid agravating your child you're going to kill youself on a gag.
Think this through a little more.
Some simple solutions are turning on a radio at night, or running a fan or humidifier. But there are more modern, long term solutions.
Nowdays there are lots of sleep therapy clinics. One of my friends at work just went and got some help with is sleeping problems. Go to your doctor and have him refer you to a sleep clinic nearby. In many cases they are located in your local hospital.
He went about a month ago, and now they've got him sleeping soundly for 8+ hours a night and it't the first time in years he's slept for more than 5 or 6 in a night.

She can wear earplugs. If she's waking up at the sound of you, the problem is her not sleeping soundly enough, not you. OR, maybe she's trying to tell you she's a big girl now and needs her own room. I know it's hard to let go.

well just sleep wit the door shut, if you gag urslef it may make it so you can't breathe and that would be bad...that would do more than wake your little girl up.
