I've been labled as a shy guy by many girls, is that a bad characteristc?

Not at all, but it depends on how shy. The main problem with guys who are shy is that you NEVER know if they like you or not. I have enough trouble trying to figure out if a loud, outgoing guy is into me, let alone a shy guy.
Shy guys usually come across as being more geniune and like they're really interested in getting to know you, instead of using you like kleenex.
If it's really causing you drama then maybe you could try to push yourself outside your comfort zone a little. Especially when it comes to initiating and maintaining conversation.

No this isnt bad. Girls find shy guys interesting because thay cannot figure them out. Theyre mysterious. But. Girls think shy guys are hot for a while if a girl trys to open you up to her that means that she's interested let her know some things. Dont tell her your life story but give her enough to make her want more, You will become very sexy to her!!!!

Girls like shy guys! But the guy can't be too shy and doesn't talk to anyone, because that comes across as a lack of confidence.

Absolutely girls like shy guys! I think a shy guy can be incredibly attractive and appealing in a world of self-confident narcissistic guys. Plenty of girls would call you a hottie, believe me. Now you just need to make a good connection with one of THOSE girls. If a girl thinks you don't come on to her fast enough, you don't need to know that girl. Really...

No, it's not a bad thing, just try to loosen up a little and get with the flow...After all you are human, and you will feel better about yourself when you feel relaxed to letting go of some of that shyness, you don't want girls, to like you like one of the girls, that sometimes turns stupid girls off, but it's OK to be shy it's kind of cute, and safe to be around someone like that...

What girls SAY they like and what they respond to are very different - so any chicks claiming shyness turns them on - be wary
Chicks generally need 3 things in a man to ratchet up the CHEMISTRY
1. lies and deceptive behavior
2. controlling behavior
3. actual or perceived cheating or seed spreading (the key survival skill for humans)
Optionally a hint of restrained violence can also be a big turn-on with certain ladies
Shyness probably was an inferior survival skill in evolutionary terms for the first 3 to 5 million years of man's existence - so it would not seem modern day chicks (still carrying all that evolutionary DNA baggage) would get very excited about shyness in males

The girls who like shy guys have less of a sex drive than the girls who like aggressive guys. I know some will mark me thumbs-down for this but I really think it's true.

They claim to like it, but still expect you to make the first move and what not. One bad thing about being shy is that (if you are good looking) girls will assume you are taken, and not go for you.

From my experience,girls find it to be cute when a guy is shy at first but they usually tire of it after a while.
