The best thing you could do would be to include her. Go on double dates, etc. You may find you can like her as a friend, and if that happens - she might respect the boundaries. Your boyfriend will respect you for extending the olive branch rather than dwell in fear and jealousy.

Give him time. Don't try to help him get over her, and don't date him if he is interested in another. Let time take its toll, and let it be, for now. It is very hard, but with patience comes pleasure. :-)
