Singles & Dating - 19 February 2007

There is this girl that I work with. Prior to last week, I just talked to her a couple of times and nodded.

I had to use the phone in her department to call my department and she was just looking me up and down. I was in the break room and there was one other peron in there with me, out of all the seat, she just sat down next to me. I flitered with her later that night and the past couple of days.

I just want to know how I ask her for her number?

Do I just keep it sinple and say hey do you want to hang out sometime, can I have your number?

me and my gf split up kind of we are on a break she has gone away for a week and we both agreed to talk when she got back.
but im not sure the possablilltys dont lok good no matter wot happens because i was joining the army and she begged me not to go and stay for her (i was top of my class ), so i did but i dont think it was worth it now we had a great time and we both started to fall for each other, but how can she love me if she asked me to give up the life my body was made for just for her i would of done it anyway but she should not have asked im not sure if i shud take her back but i do like her alot ........confused big time

ok i'm moving to a new school on february 27 but leaving my old one on the 22 and i have an ex (that is now my best friend) and on the day i leave i want to say i love you to her but i think she might take it the wrong way (cause i don't like her like that anymore and wanna show i care and i have a gf) and tell her than she will take it the wrong way too. should i say i love u to her?

okay when im older id like to either be a sugeon or a csi person who like does the dna and stuff i have other interests like an actress and a cartoonist but my main ones are the sergeon or the acrtess but whatim asking is when your a sergeon do you reall yhave a life like in the hospital

okay so this girl liked me in 7th and 8th grade. i liked her but we were just friends, and at that time i was too shy to do anything about it, i also kinda liked some1 else at the time. now in high school we never talk anymore and i always catch her looking at me. whenever she walks by me she looks uncomfortable. shes a little shy when i talk to her. sometimes i catch her walking with another person smiling and then looking at me. also it seems like whenever i walk by her, her voice gets louder. she really confuses me. i dont know what to do. she talks to other guys and stuff but i dont see her getting with them, she is close to them to. i really like her and i think im in love. i want to be there for her. how can i tell if she likes me? how can i get her to like me? oh and at dances i see her looking at me, also when im dancing with another girl.
Also i have a myspace tracker and she doesnt view it. does that mean anything?

If your girlfriend told you that she was feeling kind of unwanted and unappreciated how would you react? Would you be compassionate to her problem, would you be defensive? Would you tell her she's overreacting?

The reason I ask is, I've been feeling this way towards my boyfriend for the past week and everytime I try to talk to him about it he gets defensive, to the point that he yelled at me on the phone last night and cursed. I started crying, but he kept yelling. And eventually he said "I gotta go" and left. Just left me hanging there crying. Is this something natural a guy would do in this situation or do I have myself a jerk of a boyfriend?

Also, if you knew that your gf felt unwanted, would you continue to ignore her or make more of an effort to make her feel wanted?

Ok my issue is that I am kind of seeing this guy. He works with me and I really like him. He says that he likes me too. The problem is that he has a girlfriend that he lives with. We have been messing around behind her back. I don't konw her. I really like him and I think that I am falling for him. I want to be with him. I wish he didn't have a girlfiend but he does. There is this guy that works security at my work. I seem him every once in awhile, and he always flirts with me. So one day I took a chance, asked him out and gave him my number. He said he would call, but never did. The next time I saw him I told him that I was disappointed not to have heard from him. He said he didn't call because the other security guy that he works with has a crush on me, and when he told him we were going to go out the other man didn't want him to. Now, here's the catch...I've never met the other man! We've seen each other, but never met. Guys that I know say that it is possible that he thought I was hot and wanted to get to know me, but I need to know what to do. Honestly, I just want a date, I don't really care who it's with! Should I tell the first guy that I don't care and I still want to go out with him, should I talk to the second guy and ask him out, or should I just forget all about it? I'm so confused!! Me and my girlfriend broke up on stupid thing.....She said that we are spending to much time togheter and she needs some time for herself ( she was telling me that we are not on a break its just she needs time for herself ) unfortunetly i didnt understand that and i got all paranoic about it and she just cracked and said she can't do this anymore ( when i saw that i was stupid and didnt give her space it was to late but i wasnt doing with bad intentions i just loved her so much ) she said because i pressuring her so much and i was overeacting so much detracted from the feelings for me .... and she just said she is done ..... i try to convince her that i was stupid and i understand now and want to make the relationship work but she said its to late ...... so we broke up ...its been 2 weeks since we havent talk or call or message eachother ..... i really love her a lot and i want her back in my life she means everything for me ..... what can i do ....

Okay didn't get much responses last post, so here goes again
There's this girl i've gotten to know and like.
I tried asking her out for valentines day last week but she mentioned she was getting to know this other guy, though they weren't dating or anything. So i just said it's fine, it's okay.
I don't know if she see's me as just a friend, a person to talk to, or what. But i don't want to be just another friend, and i know she said she's getting to know someone else but she did also say they weren't dating or anything yet.
So is there anything that i can do? I know sometimes when you're already focused on 1 person no one else matters, but then again ppl do get to know others better and see something happen maybe...
So is there anything i can do about it? maybe get closer somehow? stick around incase things don't work out w/ the other guy? even though it might hurt or is it just a hopeless situation right now where no matter what, she'll see me as just a friend because of that guy?
