Choose your timing, then ask him if you can "show him" a few things you really like. Explain that you like to be kissed gently- like this......Or touched like this..... and so on. Follow it up with "what do you like?" This way it doesn't sound like your putting him down, just helping him to understand what you like. Plus, you might learn a thing or two about what he likes too.

Try the positive approach before telling him that.
Make it very clear to him when he's doing something right. For example if he gives you a kiss you really enjoy, say "that was a great kiss" or give a nice appriciative sigh.
Try to get him to start soft, no tongue, and gradually get more passionnate (but not systematically)
Eventually, if it's not working, tell him that you'd like him to change a couple things, but punctuating it with nice things you like about him, telling him you do like kissing him, but you have preferences for some styles of kisses.
Just try to stay positive if at all possible. It'll soften the blow and be more natural than sitting him down and telling him as bluntly as you did here that he's a "horrible french kisser".

Well, i know with my first few GF's I didnt like kissing, I was scared that I would screw up or what, if I should use tounge or not. It was awkward times. But when I first did, I noticed that it wasnt so bad, and do it all the time =P all I can say is give him time, grab him and kiss him longer, holding the kiss, then go open mouth, just kinda moving the lips around, then when he gets more comfortible, stick your tounge in a bit more and more each kiss, then he'll be going at it all the time xD. You just need to help him along, guys aint perfect.

I wouldn't break it to him just like that but give him ideas on how to kiss different, like a candy kiss. Also if you relationship is strong there is a nice way to tell him without him getting upset. Think about if he were to tell you the same thing, how could he say it to you and not hurt your feelings. Best of Luck

Set an example. Dive for him first, and show him hot its done!!!! Come on girl friend, us girls have 2 support our relationships Right? Or, just fool around with him, and (jokingly) say that he needs 2 learn how 2 french kiss. He'll take the hint, but not be offended

When trying to improve a relationship, it's always best to go with a positive approach. Don't criticize his kissing! Tell him you'd like to experiment with kissing. Tell him it feels kind of wet and ask him to try a super-dry version. Then wet it up one step at a time until it's where you like it. Tell him that's your ideal. See if he's ok with that or if you need to compromise and go a little wetter. Chances are that he just wants to please you and if you enthusiastically respond without making TOO big a deal of it, it'll probably go smoothly! Good luck.

If you have been together a long time, he won't be offended if you show him how to french kiss. Girl take control. Tell him what you like or forever hold your peace or find a new boyfriend.
