You can only get over your ex when you stop holding on. You will not get over the if u still have that love and adoration 4 them. You can start by accepting what has happened and move on with your life. But remember, jumping into another a relationship wont help. You will have to give yourself time to heal, to forget.I known it is not easy but you will have to try.

Being listed in the Singles and Dating, I take it this is a X-girl/boyfriend. If there is no chance that you will get back together, remove everything from your living quarters that remind you of them. Then go to a get together where there are plenty of the opposite sex to socialize with. The key is don't pick a friend/mate that is like your ex. Direct your attention on something interesting. It won't be long before fate will come along and a new friend will there to take your ex's place.

It takes Time... try to go out with friends, meet new people and just have fun and be happy. Before you know it you will meet someone new and your ex will be a distant memory!
