what's the best way to break up a couple??

Over the past month I noticed she didn't repsond to any of my text messages. After realizing she might not be interested in me, I left a message with her on valentines day to say happy valentines and that i didn't get a message from her, wishing that i had a chance to chat with her, and that this would be the last message. I made this decision because i dont want to make her feel that i'm pestering her, there's no point, especially when this person isn't interested.
Two days after valentines day she texted me her first message ever saying the below: "aww...that's so sweet. will you be my valentine? this year on valentine's day i just stayed at home and watched tv...hopefully in the near future i'll be watching tv with someone beside me :) "
What does this message mean to you?

I have a crush on this guy. It is so very obvious, and petty people say that I'm "stalking" him. I let that go. Apparently now, someone called him, pretended to be me, left a voicemail and said " are you in a band? Cuz I wanna bang you like the drums!" It makes me so mad! I would never say anything like that. In fact, on Valentine's day, I sent him a rose just to see him happy. I know that a relationship between us could never be possible, because we reside in different parts of a system. Cliques, if you will. And I am by no means stalking him. I just want to like him from afar, and eventually move on. Now he ( and all the other guys ) think I want to have sex. And I am so not ready for that. One of his "friends" was harassing me today. He told me to quit looking at them, to turn around, that he was tired of looking at my face. He even flipped me the bird! I don't want to take that crap. What should I do? I don't want a reputation as a "s##t" .

After 2 years we are breaking up.
My (ex) partner wants me to move out.
The last drop was that one of the lib dems rang and I told her to call his mobile and not home number as I use this number for my business and I can't keep the line busy. I get incoming calls as I am an interpreter.
OK. I live in his house but I am sharing bills.
He is 55, never been married and gets very brutal if I do not comply with rules in the house, such as washing even a cup that I leave in the kitchen.
He doesn't like either if I try to find out anything about him, such as where he's been, with whom, etc.... although I know he can't be sexually unfaithful.
Is this a macho man?

I am Asian and I'm not bragging but a lot of guys at my college have asked me out but I am not interested in any of them. Recently I met a guy and my first impression was that he's funny, smart and I like him a lot. He said he liked me to and he keeps saying that we're dating but I am quite confused about that. WHen American people say dating, does it mean bf/gf or what? I personally dont think he sees me as a gf because we only see each other 2 or 3 times a week (he commutes) because after I told him that I liked him too, he stopped trying to make plans so we can hang out together. Is he playing mind games here or is he giving up because he doesn't get what he wants? I mean i am quite easy going for an asian girl but I dont give in that easily...

I am 24 and have only ever been on one date with a girl which wasn't really a date. I am severely shy and just clam up when around a girl I like and just cannot seem to talk to her about anything. I even stop talking when a cute girl walks by and start again when she is gone. If I can just get around the shy part, I know I could do ok, but I just can not break it. I like this girl a lot, and I can tell she likes me back. The problem is, she's shy, really shy. I've never had a girlfriend before, so I'm really not good with... you know, everything to do with women. I'm shy too, and I just can't think of what to say or what to do when I'm around her.

If you have to LOOK "good" to FEEL good about yourself, an amazing number of women have low self esteem.

Or is it EGO? "If lots of guys are looking at/hitting on me, I must be a very important person?"

For us guys, it's a pain in the ***. You see someone who's absolutely gorgeous, try to talk to them, and get rejected....and if ALL the guys are rejected, what's she up to? Maybe that's how the terms C.T and P.T got started, ladies. We don't like to be made fools of!!!

I've been on a lot of dates and been through four serious relationships in the past two years. and I was just thinking....my dates/boyfriends never Ever paid for me. Is this normal? Or did I just date cheapos?
