I have a friend who fancies an older woman, when he told me I thought "Good for him, he has been single all his life almost phobic of women and finally he has found someone". Surprised at my acceptance he went on to tell me that she was much older than him...I eventually found out she was 40 years older than him! I wish I could tell him that he could find someone his age that will make him happy but he is very very sceptical and tells me that this is the only woman who will ever even come close to understanding him, I think he may suffer from very low confidence but I would like to help him out. I don't know what to say to him about it however, it does seem wrong but its hard to put into words why....what should I say to him?

My friend had this "boyfriend" in 6th grade but I don't really think it was a boyfriend what do you think?

He asked her out on the last day of school. They didn't talk at all and didn't see each other. In one week he called and said I have to break up with you. That was the end of their relationship. Was this a boyfriend or what because I think it wasn't?

There's a girl that I thought liked me but told me that she hasn't pooped in almost 5 days. We sat and joked about it for like 15 minutes today and had great conversation about other things too, but seriously if a girl tells you about her bathroom problems she can't possibly like you? It totally threw me off because she has been sending me all types of signs that she likes me. Oh well what do you all think

My boyfriend and I have been together for around a year, he always is telling me how much he loves me, and that he can't wait until we get married, but there are a few issues I have with him, he never buys flowers, says he doesn't celebrate valentines day, our first. We also do not have sex, because he says it makes him feel guilty, like he's doing something wrong, I don't understand, he is in his 20's, when we first started sleeping together it was all the time, then he pulls this thing where he says it makes him feel bad and guilty, what is wrong. I don't understand. I'm such a girly girl too, and he knows I love flowers and stuff, what is wrong with me? Is this normal??

BACKGROUND: we have been dating a year. We see each other every Saturday morning-until sunday morning (ill sleep over) . ( we live 2.5 hours away from each other and are both go to school 9-5).... We talk online at night everyday after school, and then we'll talk on the phone after that for about 30 minutes to an hour.

He said lately he wants space, he wants to be together, but wants not to feel obligated to talk on the phone every night, and not obligated to see each other every week.. he said i am needy and that sometimes he just needs to be "him" and be indepedent. he said he doesnt want to break up, he wants to marry me one day, but that he needs his space. he needs a life outside of me. and that we cant just cant always be in a "honeymoon" state. cuz that is just LUST, not love.

what should i think...

Ladies, what would you like/love men to write about, mention, express when it comes to writing romances?

The pieces of writing aren't written as novels/stories.
And may well, not be written about anyone in particular.

It doesn’t matter if you are fat, slim, tall, short, the color of your skin, hair or eyes.
I love you just because you are a woman, I love to see you happy, love your smile, the way you see the world, the way you do things, I love the way you move, walk, dress.
I love the way you pretend you don’t care when I look at you, suggestively, admired by your beauty, making my day a better day, a day that deserves to be lived!
That’s why I would love to have the opportunity to share a coffee or a drink with you, to know you better. Eventually, I would love to undress you in my room, to make you love, to praise your beauty, the beauty of your body, the beauty of your soul. To praise your femininity.
Would you accept? I’m in downtown Toronto

We've had a tough time as he's had various work & family problems, I've had a big operation & been laid up now for 2 months. I'm hoping the reason we split is just because he needs time to catch up at work & get his head around everything that has happened. I appreciate he needs space as he has been under serious pressure but I can't bear the thought of him slipping away from me. I really want to settle down with this guy & he was talking about marriage & kids. We last spoke on Tuesday when he said he would meet me within the next 2 weeks for a drink as friends & see what happens from there. I don't want to add to his pressure by chasing him & know that will only drive him away, but I am going out of my mind here & can't eat or sleep for thinking about him. Any suggestions?

Sometimes I catch him staring at me during lunch and he's starting to drink Bid Red like me too. (Dumb, I know.) But the problem is, he never talks to me. He just ignores me and basically just pretends like I don't exist. Is he acting this way because he doesn't know how to act or is he repulsed by me?

I was talking to this girl for 3 weeks straight. She would tell me that her ex used to control, beat, and mistreat her, but she ended up staying with this man for 3 years. And talking to me, she sees that im not that type of guy. As soon as I bought her something for valentines day, she must of seen that as a sign of weakness and began talking to that very same man that used to mistreat her. Do I need to be controlling?

so this girl & i have been dating really seriously for a while now. we havent had sex, but we have done the touching thing etc. nothing overboard, but more on the exploring side. everything has been great, but i want to do more to her w/out the sex part. should i just come out with it and ask if i can go "downtown" or is that too bold to ask a :virgin" girl. honestly, i do feel very safe in asking her, but i also dont want to press the issue. she knows me by now, and things could have gone pretty far, but they havent. i really adore her and think of world of her, and i am thinking that she would LOVE something like that......agree, or disagree in me asking with any other "virgin" advice
