Well you could just ask him out and see how he responds.

You could also pretend to be interested in signing up and then tell him that you're really just interested in signing him up for a night on the town with a hot sexy lady...

Being honest isn't lame, playing games is lame.

tell him your interested in the marines (which you are.. just the person not the program) and ask him to sit with you in a dinner meeting... the worst that could happen is that you'll be bored for an hour or two about the marines way of life...

ps. i date a marine... thats what did it for me
