Do you think it's lame or do you think it's a good thing?

Personally, I think it's... stupid.

I have nothing against people who do it, but to me it seems pointless, half the time your never going to meet this perosn you're internet dating, if its just pictures you see, it could very well be some internet pervert..

Plus, I mean, there's no commitment. Your infront of your pc screen, and the person you're dating could be in bed with somone else.. Who are you to know?

i've dated people over the internet before and had two pretty serious relationships...the guy i'm with now I actually met on the internet and we've been together for over 3.5 years...we've seen eachother three times in person, and he's planning on moving here this summer after he gets out of college...I mean...you do need to watch out because there are some creepy people out there, but it can be really good because for me I felt like I could talk alot better with a stranger because they had no previous notions about me...and I felt much more comfortable telling them everything and being totally honest with them...

Depends on how many times you strike out in reality.
