This guy gave me a really cute card and chocolates on Valentines,
but he knows that I have a boyfriend
I'm just wondering why he would do that (he actually gave it to me right in front of my boyfriend :S)

I'm 16 years old and all of my exes have been 3,4,5,6 years older than me. And the oldest guy I dated was 26. I don't even like olde rmen. I like people my own age but the guys my age barely pay attetion to me. They are always playing video games and playing basketball. I just act like a normal teen and I dress apportatie. Older men seem to be attracted to me for some odd reason. I tell my age all the time I never lie.

I really like this girl. She is 18 and visiting from England. She leaves tomorrow. We have spent alot of time together and I really like her. I dont want her to leave and I never talk to her again. I will see her in the summer again. My plans to give her my email wasnt able to work because she wasnt home yesterday and today is my last chance which changes everything. I was going to say since we went to New York together that I should give her my email address so she can show me the pictures. Is that a good way to say it and ask? this "guy friend" says he wants nothing more than to only be friends. to me, it isnt fair because we ALWAYS hook up when we are drunk (sometimes more than just making out... ALOT of times more than just making out...) and i dont know what to do because he keeps telling me that he does not want anything more than just friends... should i keep letting it be like this? cause i really do like him alot and he is the sweetest person in the world, really he is! but he just doesnt want to commit... we are of two different cultures and i think that might also make a huge difference!! To be more specific... lets say two people who started off as friends start dating. A few months into the relationship they break up because she "didnt feel the spark." Both people have a lot in common and are extremly compatible and have a great time together. They decide to remain friends. Here is the the question. Can this friendship turn into true love even though they dated at one period of time and it didnt work out. my ex girlfriend keeps sending signs of wanting to be with me but says she doesnt want to be with me. i think shes confused and scared. i know she really does love me, everyone says that they can see it. should i wait for her, i really do love her. is there any chance that she will ever come back to me. shes trying to be with this other guy but usually she just gets enfatuated and it ends shortly for some reason. we lasted 16 months without any problems really. and she never cheated on me. which is kinda surprising because she has cheated on everyone of her past boyfriends except for me. she holds my hand every once in awhile and kisses me and holds me when we are alone. what should i do? i really love this girl.

Whenever my phone rings, he gets pissed off - whenver I go anywhere with friends (which is very rare) he gets pissed off - whenever I mention my brother he gets pissed off - whenever I talk about making plans with a friend (which is extremely rare) he gets pissed off - whenever we do something that involves anyone but him and i he gets pissed off - He CONNNNSTANTLY calls me an alcoholic and I NEVER EVER DRINK - he tells me that he has to be #1 in my life no matter what - I used to be extremely outgoing and extremely spontanious, but he has toned me down and made me feel like somebody I am not. Whenever my voice raises in public and I say or do something funny, he gets really pissed off at me and embarassed for me. I feel like I have to ask him if I can do ANYTHING, from calling my mom to talk to her, to going to get a coffee..... I LOVE HIM THOUGH. I know, HOW could I love him? I don't know???

I'm 20, she's 18? Anyways, we used to see eachother on the bus to school last Semester, but not so much this semester. We'd talk, and I'd walk with her til one of us had to go in another direction. He's a really nice guy and I like him, we've been friends for a while, but we both just got out of relationships. He was with his childhood sweetheart and I'm still inlove with my ex. BACKGROUND: we have been dating a year. I go to school everyday from 9-5. He works full time at a law office from 9-5 every day. We see each other every Saturday into sunday. (il drive these and sleep over, or he'll drive here and sleep over. We talk every night sporatically on AIM, and that late at night, we'll talk on the phone for about 1/2 and hour.

He said lately he wants space, he wants to be together, but wants not to feel obligated to talk on the phone every night, and not obligated to see each other every week.. he said i am needy and that just needs to be "him" and be indepedent. he said he doesnt want to break up, he wants to marry me one day, but that he needs his space. he needs a life outside of me, and that he "hollymoon" stage cant be forever, because that is lust not love... he said he has hobbies he wants to do like work on doing an DJ album ad writing a book. he said that he needs time to himself to play video games and relax.

what should i think...
