I'm 20, she's 18? Anyways, we used to see eachother on the bus to school last Semester, but not so much this semester. We'd talk, and I'd walk with her til one of us had to go in another direction. I want to know if she has a boyfriend, but I don't want to seem like I'm coming onto her. How do I do this? I don't know any of her friends. I think she does have a boyfriend, or at least had one during the summer, but I just gotta know.

Ask her what she got for Valentine's Day.

Next time you see her, be a little more warm. Give her a hug, just a little closer than usual. Mention how great it is to see her. If she is sitting down, pat her on the thigh a couple of times. Maintain eye contact comfortably and make light conversation. Make your move. She'll let you know if she has a boyfriend.

But in all honesty, the first answer says it best.

why wouldn't you want her to think you are coming on to her? BE blunt. But if you want to take the wussy route. Ask her how her valentines day was and what she did. That should provide an answer right there.

Ask her questions as if you assume she has a boyfriend, like-"so what your guy get you for Valentines" or "Is your guy coming to visit for Spring Break?" something like that..

"Are you dating anyone currently?"

Any hesitation or "umm.... or well..." she feeding you a line. Grade her performance on an honest, blunt answer and you cannot go wrong.
