Don't. You run the risk of losing a friendship you've had for quite some time. Also, you don't really seem that excited about the prospect of sleeping with him. Your relationship with your ex seems pretty casual as it is. Worry about that for now.

I think you both are too soon out of relationships to take anybody too seriously. It doesn't seem as if you've finished your old relationship either. Don't play games. But if you know and I do mean KNOW that you and your ex are just prolonging the breakup, then have you some fun girl! If all you're looking for is a good time, casual sex is ok. But BEWARE, You MUST BE absolutely 100% okay with never talking to him again. Now thats casual! lol.

although im a girl im thinking like the guys would on this one. u both need someone to fall back on. just do it. if there are no true feelings u arent doing anything wrong. just pleasing each other until u find something u want. he isnt in it for the feelings just the pleasure. so that is all u should make of it and if ure okay with that then go have fun with no strings attached.

Quite frankly, you wouldn't gain anything from sleeping with your friend. You could possibly ruin your friendship, and if, as you say, you're still in love with your ex, that will lead to very conflicted feelings on your part.
I advise you to settle things with your ex, one way or another, before thinking about moving on.
Your friend just wants to have fun, and isn't necessarily interested in a relationship with you. You aren't ready because you still have feelings for your ex.

Sex between friends is always complicated, especially when the two of you are still getting over previous relationships. Stay away from this one and just tell him you value his friendship to much to risk anything intimate. Or you can just say I am in love with someone else and I am not that kind of girl.
Good Luck

individually, i might incredibly fall in love and stay with the comparable woman. i've got been in many relationships and that i've got learnt efficient classes. i assume if the female i like has a brilliant character and solid looks, i does no longer hesitate to be commited to her (marriage??).

No such thing as casually having sex.
Don't do it. It's wrong, tell him so. Tell him why specifically and that you will not compromise. And then... don't compromise!

the words Casually and making love don't fit into the same sentence. if he loves you then he'll show it and you';ll want to give it to him. if he wants to bang he'll tell you that stupid line.
good luck
