my ex girlfriend keeps sending signs of wanting to be with me but says she doesnt want to be with me. i think shes confused and scared. i know she really does love me, everyone says that they can see it. should i wait for her, i really do love her. is there any chance that she will ever come back to me. shes trying to be with this other guy but usually she just gets enfatuated and it ends shortly for some reason. we lasted 16 months without any problems really. and she never cheated on me. which is kinda surprising because she has cheated on everyone of her past boyfriends except for me. she holds my hand every once in awhile and kisses me and holds me when we are alone. what should i do? i really love this girl.

She hasn't cheated on you that you've found out about.

Why wait for her? If she comes back and finds you waiting, it'll just encourage her to run off the next time she wants a fling. The best way to figure out how YOU feel is to start dating someone else, so you can get some distance and perspective on your emotions.

If, after a few months and a few dates you still want her back, and she's at all good for you, she'll be ready too, and will know she can't screw around with you and expect you to be her fallback guy and emotional support. If she bolts when you stop playing the fallguy, or if you find you like other girls as much or more, no harm no foul.

Good luck

If she really loved you, she would want to be with you. It sounds to me like she's just lonely and knows that she can get the affection she wants from you. You should move on and live your life. If she decides she wants to be with you, that's great, but don't waste your time waiting for her.
