I have been on depo 4 awhile and i was just wondering if i still need to use a condom when im on depo please let me know.

As it was said on Boyz n The Hood " A condom ain't gonna stop your d*** from falling off". If you are seeing more than one person of course you should use a condom. If you are in a committed relationship, then maybe not. But nothing is 100%.

yes. depo may protect against pregnancy,
but not STD's. And even still, you could get pregnant.
always use a condom, no matter what,
unless you are ready for stuff like that.

the depo shot is not 100% effective against pregnancy and 0% against an std. so yeah, use a condom!

It is always good to use double protection against pregnancy. Depo is very reliable but there is still that chance. If you are with one partner that you trust and have been with it is not so bad but depo does not stop disease...

The added level of protection can never hurt! Plus a condom protect against HIV and STDs.

If you do not want STDs yes depo only protects you from pregnancy

You should always use a condom. Especially when you have more than one partner. There are so many sexually transmitted diseases out there that not all birth controls cover. To be save always use a condom.

Always use a condom, no matter what other birth control you are on, it can keep you safe from STD's and AIDS. Better to be safe than sorry.
